VICKI VALE: This is a GCN Special Report. I’m Vicki Vale.

JACK RYDER: And I’m Jack Ryder. Two explosions rocked Gotham City’s East Side last night, as the Monarch Card Factory and the ACE Chemicals Plant were attacked by an as-of-yet unknown assailant. Details are sketchy at the moment, but eyewitnesses report seeing notorious criminal The Joker on the scene. The GCPD reports that despite the size of the blast, there were no civilian or police casualties. However, the GCPD refused to comment on the involvement of The Batman, and whether or not he or any other rogue was involved in the blast.
