Not surprisingly, Zig Zag's studio doesn't have an H.R. department.


(It presumably wouldn't be called that anyway, as the "H" generally stands for "human".)

Eh. In many Anthro worlds, they still consider themselves to be “human” regardless of what sub species they are. It’s something most people just suspend disbelief over. Not worth worrying about.

Remember how the name changed in our world: First, it was "Personnel". But the Big Bosses didn't like that because it kept reminding everybody they were dealing with people. Then it became "Human Resources". The Big Bosses liked this better, as "Resources" are something you chew up, extract all value from, and then discard. But it still had that annoying reminder that these were humans. Then, it became "HR". This pleased the Big Bosses immensely, as they now have almost totally removed any reminders of the nature of the resources being managed. So, in an anthro world, assuming they don't use "human" - the second step would likely be Sapient Resources, eventually shortened to SR.
