I know, and I really do appreciate the efforts to catch things I miss. Doesn't stop me from being annoyed and frustrated though for spending hours cleaning the carpet, and the first thing out of anyone's mouth is "You missed a spot." ;)

Isn't the alternative no one saying anything, and the mistake remaining? Would you prefer that a person who notices an error would wait until a non-correcting comment is made, or start their comment with a compliment before correcting?

great comic, thanks for sharing! By the time I saw it, the correction was in place. Sometimes I offer corrections for stories - if I do, it is because I like the story/author and want them to do as well as possible.
