I always had the impression that Isaac was a flaming homosexual. I think that since they really didn't focus on him alot in S1 you didn't really pay much attention to him, but if I recall correctly he was always reading some sort of LGBTQ+ related book. But the way he spoke and how he acted just screamed to me as to his sexuality.

Tao refers to himself as Charlie’s “token straight friend” in season 1. I’m interested to see where they take Isaac compared to the character from the books who inspired him (he’s the only one who didn’t make it directly into the show due to continuity concerns)
