Wow! Y’all are working overtime! Thanks Guys!

snallahej

Yaaaaayyyy! Even though I was a bit thick on discord. ☺️ Thanks, guys! 💜

it’s very nice of you guys to be so responsive to your fans. I’ll watch because it’s you, but I’m not seeing the skam appeal yet. Maybe it improves later? Idk. It also unnerves me to hear the uncensored rap on the soundtrack. I think it’s kinda weird to hear racial slurs in the background of this Norwegian show. 🤨 but, loving you guys, as always.

Diane Furlong

It is different but I’m learning things every day. Plus I trust Josh and Alex. They’re not going to expose us to anything bad.

snallahej

Agreed! And it’s not on Josh and Alex at all. It’s just one of my observations of the show; I’m not seeing the hype at all. My reality colors (no pun intended) my viewing.

So happy to be rewatching skam with you!! If you're not going to watch season 1 & 2 I think at least you need to have a little bit of the backstory.. Season 1 was centered around Eva, who was a good friend of Isak's and the girlfriend of Isak's best friend Jonas. We also got to know Eva's friends Vilde, Sana, Chris and Noora. Season 2 was about Noora, who lived in the collective with Linn and Eskil, and when she moved out at the end of season 2, Isak moved into her old room (after leaving his home because of a fall-out between his parents). Isak's friends Mahdi and Magnus are new in season 3, as is Even. I agree each season can stand on it's own, but it's more fun to watch if you know all the side-characters a bit..

I get it. I’m older than the average bear so I think that’s why I didn’t get until I watched a second time. I’m still enjoying the ride.

Wow, very interesting. I noticed your edited release on YouTube earlier today and watched some of it, but now just watched this unedited version. This is definitely a richer experience, with a lot more context. And several of your comments I understood better with that context, as you are both responding intuitively to the subtle interactions of the characters in real time. Which is of course how you have always created the videos. In short--this is a great idea. I presume YouTube has tight copyright requirements that have made the editing necessary, but this full version is a lot richer, with your intuitions and emotional parsing of the character arcs even clearer. Thanks for doing this!

*old lady in titanic voice* it's been 84 years but i'm still requesting Handsome Devil and/or Dear Ex <3 thank you for the full length, it's quite fun!

Just watched again this evening which helped to clarify things for me. Now I’m ready for the next episode when the time comes.

not sure if you figured it out, but that big long text was a scripture verse from Isak's mom. A fair amount of info comes via text through the whole series so don't worry about pausing to read!

whoops, one more re: being a fly on the wall - this made the series feel more impactful to me because instead of having characters saying A Very Stilted Message to camera you actually get a lot of moments of what feels like real people growing and coming to profound realizations.

I had a similar reaction to the first episode haha “wait, what’s happening?” but it’s such a good watch. Lots of conversations and scenes that I’m looking forward to you reacting 🙂

Lovely to be back, guys and great to see more of you, now you’re doing uncut reactions. Thank you! ❤️😊 I am not a SKAM fan, but I re-subscribed because I promised you that I would if you were prepared to offer uncut reactions.. Looking forward to the new season of Heartstopper once it arrives as it was your reactions to season 1 that first made me want to subscribe to your Patreon. x

It’s funny rewatching the flatmates’ conversation with Noora from your perspectives - not having seen season 1 and 2. While we were all “oh it’s Noora. We love you l, we miss you”, you were like “what are watching right now?” 😂😂 Also cool to see you approaching each character with an open mind about their gender and sexuality, while we had some preconceived notions based on the earlier seasons.

I have watched all the Skam universes all seasons so addicting but season 3 is my favorite no matter which version I watch.
