I think it’s meant to be a Film Noir batman style based off the comic “The Long Halloween” which inspired The Batman video game “Arkham Knight” know someone might have to double check that ?

I guess with them promoting this as the first main trailer, I can see why you'd be let down. It's more so a teaser trailer since they're only like... 15-20% done with filming due to COVID lmao. I for one will be there Thursday at midnight for the first screening. Battinson seems like an absolute serve.

The first face you see not in a mask or duct tape is a female police officer, there were female crime scene investigators, a female politician, the multitude of female extras, and Selena Kyle (catwoman). I took the incel comment more to mean the trailer feels like it's for people who feel like the world is set up against them and that they can't be happy, or catch a break.
