I really enjoyed Louis Ferdinand’s quintet from the end of E94. What are some other notable works from this period, and do you have any favorites?

Great episode as always. For the next episode, I have a topic request: A common theme in the podcast seems to be 1. that military strategy and technological innovation move in tandem (e.g. would Napoleon be a great general today? hypotheticals) and 2. many of the failures of Napoleon's opponents were the result of failing to modernize or take into account the changing realities of the battlefield. On the flip side, I'm interested in any examples of a novel technology or strategy being attempted that resulted in failure? Either because it ended up being a dead end or it was too far ahead of its time. Thanks!
