Just in time for the Anniversary!

Good episode. Lately I've been listening to these twice: the first time in a semi-distracted background while I'm doing chores and the second time with Wikipedia open looking at the battle maps. I like how these battles are being laid out as organizational and planning failures long before the action starts. It's not so much that Napoleon is beating them as much as it is his opponents don't know how to properly fit their armies on the battlefield.

Boots, then bayonets.

Should've posted it tomorrow, then you could have had it also been on the anniversary of the coronation/battle!

What a great episode. I was impatient enough that I ended up listening to it while driving around running errands, and then while making dinner for the rest of it. Your descriptions of everything were so clear that I was able to picture it all in my head even though I was busy. Great job.

Absolutely brilliant Everett. Austerlitz was Napoleon’s Masterpiece and this podcast is yours!

Just to echo the other comments here, really top notch stuff. Great details and great storytelling.
