Good morning Babys~

> First of all, what is a graphics engine?

A graphics engine is a tool that helps to implement and unite a certain material to create scenes and with them a videogame. It is in charge of joining all the graphics, numbers and code!

> Why do you want to work in Unity now? Don't you like RPG Maker anymore?

I assure you that for this question there are many answers, I will give you some examples!

In RPG Maker, everything works by individual events, exept the common ones, this means that when you have an RPG Maker scene with many interactions, it is very dirty, laggy or takes a long time to load.

Unity has an infinity of Tilesets, characters and in general Assets that can be downloaded both for free and paid, this greatly speeds up the graphic work of the game!

Unity is a graphics engine that is compatible with 3D! In Unity you can create both 2D and 3D games, while RPG Maker only allows 2D.

Image quality, Unity lets you work with resolutions of the quality you want, being able to create projects in 4k or even 8k. However RPG Maker sticks with fixed and non-scalable resolutions of 48x48 maximum!

Finally, it should be mentioned that RPG Maker is not designed to manage large maps, that is why there are transitions between roads, cities, houses, etc. Unity works much better with large areas.

> But then why didn't you start creating the games with Unity?

This is because I did not have knowledge about how to use Unity, being RPG Maker about 20 times easier to use, it was the best option to start and have a first contact with the world of videogames, in fact if any of you are Interested in creating a videogame, I recommend you start with RPG Maker.

Well, although its benefits are much lower, it will be easier and you will have a better progression in the development of your games.

> So now are you going to do "A Whole Week In Diapers" in Unity?

Certainly not, this project is started in RPG Maker and therefore I cannot export it to Unity. I mean, I have to keep developing it in RPG Maker, and don't worry because I'm going to keep developing it. As I always tell you, I have many ideas for that game!

> Are you going to start another game in Unity?

Not exactly, it will be the engine that I am going to use in the future, but for now I am learning to handle it, I have joined a course and I am doing daily work, so I will have to complement the study of this engine with the development of "AWWD".

> How long will it take to learn enough to work in Unity?

Well, that will always depend on how I develop with the graphics engine and above all the effort that I put into studying it. That said, I have to tell you that I really want to study it and I am dedicating time to it every day!

In a week I will have the basic knowledge. In two weeks to a month I will start to publish the alpha of what will be the first game I create in Unity.

> So soon? And what is the game going to be about?

This is up to you to decide! Easy, easy, I'm not going to make you think too much hshshshs.

I will be giving you polls about the game, such as if you prefer it to be in 2D or 3D, if you want it to be about history or combat, if you want the starting character to be chosen, and I will give you several story premises to choose from!

All this calmly and without haste, it is a great step and we are going to go slowly so as not to do things wrong.

Nothing more to say my babies! I hope that with this it has become clear to you what I am working on, dates and information on the subject!

See you in the next post! Kisses~
