Foul Furnace Making and Ignition

"I could even repair it from the outside while the furnace is running and install a new wind tunnel, right?"

When I told them this, Habel and the others blinked and opened their mouths wide.

"Seriously?"

"Well, that's finally a foul."

"This is going to revolutionize the Dwarven furnace..."

Each of them muttered their thoughts with a look of astonishment. I proudly appealed to them that it would be great.

Then one of the dwarves looks at the others with a serious face.

"I will stay here.... no, I'm staying here..."

"No, listen to me first. In this town, I..."

"Wait a minute! I'll stay first!"

The dwarves suddenly started arguing. Seeing this, Habel clapped his hands and grinned.

"Wha, what, what? What's wrong?"

Habel pointed to the furnace with a sly grin.

"I guess your blacksmith's skills must be on fire. I've never seen such an exciting town. There will be plenty of weapons to go around and plenty of materials to process. And the town is bright and lively. It's not as good as the Dwarven country, but it looks like a nice place to live."

Habel laughed out loud and said, "It's heaven for a blacksmith". Hearing these words, I looked at the dwarves who were arguing.

"I happen to be dealing with a certain merchant, and I can also leave the Orihalcum ore with a merchant who is on his way to Dwarven lands. So, if you like, why don't we all stay in Seat Village for a while?"

The dwarves stopped arguing as soon as he said this. They looked at each other and finally at Habel.

"Gahahaha! Oh, that's good! You guys can join me here and make the best weapons in the world!"

Habel chuckled as he said this, and the dwarves' mouths dropped wide.

"Oh! That's great!"

"That's indeed great!"

"We'll be staying here too!"

Habel and the others clapped each other on the shoulder and laughed loudly.

Thus, a group of Dwarven blacksmiths, a rarity even in other countries, settled in Seat Village.

Within a few days, the furnace was fired up, and Mithril armor was made by Habel and his team by melting and smelting Mithril ore. As a result, within another week or so, Seat Village's first blacksmith-made armor was ready.

"Wow, that's great!"

I exclaimed with glee when I saw the finished armor. A total of six pieces of armory, including a white and silver long sword, shield, helmet, armor, hand armor, and leg armor, were laid out like furnishings on a white stone table.

"Amazingly powerful. This will definitely be a highlight of Seat Village."

I laughed as I said this, and Habel and the others who had brought the armors smiled showing their teeth.

"Oh, that's right. I'm going to make more and more awesome stuff next time."

"But the first piece of armor I made, which I will never be able to make again, Van-sama, I give it to you."

"Take good care of it."

Habel and the others were talking like that, so I took it in stride.

"Really? Thank you!"

I thanked them and looked at the swords and armor. They are cautiously crafted down to the smallest detail. They are truly works of art. I'm glad I made the furnace.

As I smiled at that thought, Habel and the others, who had crossed their arms and nodded their heads in satisfaction, spoke.

"Well, this territory is spectacular! I was so busy blacksmithing that I didn't notice it until yesterday, but what's that public bathhouse thing! Besides, I didn't realize they were in Seat Village and in Adventurer's Town."

"Oh, and you can get all kinds of ore and materials for magical beasts! And the food is delicious!"

"And there are as many adventurers as there are big cities, so we can do as much blacksmithing as we want!"

Habel and his friends happily discussed their life in the territory, and they gave Habel and his friends a modest amount of money as an initial investment to open a blacksmith shop. They also received ore, coal, and their own food, clothing, and shelter.

It seems that they have been into blacksmithing for a while, but maybe they finally got a break and are looking around the village and town.

"I heard that dwarves like to drink, so I'm also planning to build a distillery of delicious alcohol. You can look forward to it."

When I told them this, Habel and the others looked at me.

"Ale? Did you mean a brewery?"

"I'd prefer something stronger."

They expressed their own requests with indescribable expressions on their faces. Hearing this, I couldn't help but smile and nod.

"I figured you'd say that. I'm planning to make a strong liquor with a lot of punch. It will be distilled, so maybe shochu or whiskey?"

"I've never heard of it, but it is a strong liquor, right?"

"I'm looking forward to it."

Hearing my explanation, Habel and the others laughed, as if they were pleased. Seeing that, I laughed along with them.

"Yeah, I'm also looking forward to it."
