i think the movie did well to shrink it down and give as little emphasis to it as possible. don't know for the manga tho, but ahhh, life goes on.

I was told a lot of dialog was tweaked compared to the manga so hopefully it translates better. I haven't watched it yet but I really didn't care for the ending much when I read it.

I think to most people the ending is simply mid, not bad. But since AoT is incredible „mid“ feels a lot worse that it usually would. I think Gigguk had a really good take on the ending an also explained some of the major problems with it in his newest video if you’re interested.
