This is for you guys.

I have been so stressed the last few months ever since the big algorithm changes on twitter. The crippling targeted engagement drop on all my favorite artists. Patreon links being suppressed. It’s been harder to see each other on the timeline after the meme pages and political stuff took over.

I was scared that the art community would break down. I see people left and right losing the will to draw. And I saw myself in that position if this went on.

But I fought for this. Two years ago, I would’ve stopped drawing and gone abroad to take another job waiting for me if I hadn’t found a way to make this profitable. But I did it. All because I made a person or two laugh. People in the replies gave me life. People thankful, laughing, ranting in disgust, people utterly confused. Oh and don’t get me started on the ones fighting on the comments, I fucking love those guys. But seeing people engage with not only me, but with each other; If through my posts, I could bring together all you lively individuals, then that would be a job worth doing.

Quote retweets tell me to get a job. This IS my job. I’ve searched far and wide, I can’t think of any other thing that could bring more substance to this world than what I already do. And I don’t believe that I’d reach a Million followers if my art wasn’t worth it.

So thank you guys. Goddamn, we made it. All my stress, all my long nights, all the headaches and eyestrain and handcramps and artblocks. Finding you guys and giving you a good show has all been worth it.
