Man, where did the time go?  We're already past the halfway point of summer, feels like just yesterday we were getting into June.  Only got one thing to say to that...

...good.

Obviously I'm not much of a summer person and with schedules being full to the brim with family obligations and other such things it doesn't lend as much time to my projects.  I look forward to the winter sojourn where everyone is too cold to bother me IRL.  :P  I also had a few major expenses that needed to be taken care of and repairs around the home after finding the neglect of the previous owner, which would be why one might have noticed more short stories on display.  Things are finally settling down it seems but there are still a few things in August, though we'll get to them in a bit.

For July accomplishments we have the first bits of audio getting integrated into Escape From the Factory.  It's starting to look like a proper game and we're getting ready to demo here fairly soon, though we do have to account for the SFW version we're putting into the game for wider audience appeal.  Raven's getting close to done with our art assets and I'll be hard at work implementing them so that everything goes smoothly.  Once we get the demo going I'll also have Raven looking at Rain and Shine for a parallel project, even if its just sprite production.

As for writing the Cafe Days have been quite a success; while the scheduling has been roughed up by summer plans it's turning out quite good for the creation of short stories.  While I bit off a little more than I meant to with expenses coming due things are still going fairly smoothly and I'll know to ease up on the gas after this batch.  With Iron Pen coming up in a month it's unlikely I'll open for more until after it, but with no anthology being written up for this round it'll actually be a smaller batch for this round in September.

So, speaking of looking forward, we have plans in August for IndyFurCon where we actually have a booth, hooray!  Other than that and Kitty's birthday coming up this month should be free and clear for getting things done in prep for the Iron Pen that's starting on Sept. 11th.

That's about it!
