So October has come to a close, and with the spookiest month of the year behind us it's time to reflect on it as well as the future.  The main event of course was the Iron Pen, which despite ending a week early still managed to complete an impressive 313k words and complete the three anthologies that were scheduled for that time.  While I think that I could have possibly gotten through that last week a number of events happened that hindered my writing time and thusly decided to just end early and recover.  The big thing that comes with the Iron Pen's success is that the backlog that had built up due to the buying and selling of property and the headaches that came with it is now gone and I have potentially found an exciting new way of doing things.

Speaking of the house we had our first full month of being home owners and things have started to smooth themselves out quite well.  There were some new challenges and things we had to do but all that is getting situated, and with my mate getting a promotion at her workplace it appears that even our new budget is quickly working itself out as well.  We've both invested a lot of money in not only making this house a home but setting up for new endeavors, such as getting shelves and workbenches for what we have deemed the workshop.  While there are still a few things we're working on things are settling out really well and I think by the end of the year we might actually be completely situated.

So that was the month in a nutshell, mostly writing and getting house stuff situated, and now it's time to move on to November.  November is going to be the first of trying out the mini Iron Pen, which if successful will allow me to complete 100k words and then also free up most of my month for other things.  It doesn't mean I won't write on other days, but I'm hoping that this will keep up the productivity and also prevent any more backlog.  I may still do a regular Iron Pen in another time (most likely late spring depending on conventions) but I have a good feeling that this is going to allow for different projects to be more thoroughly explored and to catch up on things like editing, programming, and a few other things.

Since it is getting close to Christmas I am going to be doing my usual candle and candy making shenanigans so look forward to that, might throw up a patreon discount for the store so that you can get a sweet treat or scent at a discount.  I'll also be trying to do more with the behind the scenes and the gaming stuff as well, since last month there was not a lot of time to do them but now I got plenty in order to figure out what to do and how to do it.  The other big thing I want to devote my time to is Rain and Shine; with all the stuff going on in the last few months I had to take a step back from it and now that it seems we're in the clear I really want to push ahead and get it to a place where it would just need art or something.  I do also need to edit everything I wrote so far and I want to get the website going better so that when we get back to conventions I have a nice place people can go and see what I do.  I also am going to try for a minimum amount of stream time in a schedule, so as you can see even without all the writing I'm going to be quite the busy sabrewolf.

That's about it, I want to thank all of you that are my patreons once again because without you I doubt we would be having the success that we are right now, including being able to replace several pieces of equipment that decided to malfunction all at once without missing a beat. If we keep growing and end the year strong then we can start the new one without any business debt and invest in even more artwork and such!
