So one thing I always do when I wake up is read the exit surveys, and there has been several that think for some reason that I'm abandoning Rain and Shine or something.  Now I was going to do a bunch of stuff in August during my streaming break I feel the need to address it now.

First off I want to thank all my Emerald Sabrewolves for letting me take this little break from Rain and Shine so I could try something new.  Hopefully you all enjoy the newest update to City of the Sabredrone where I could do more writing and less coding.  When game programming becomes an even bigger thing it may become a secondary project.

So Rain and Shine is still going to be worked on, in fact we're about to get an asset update for August.  The time I spent working on City of the Sabredrones also allowed me to think about what is going on with Rain and Shine and I have a few things that I've been working on behind the scenes when it comes to organization and logistics.  The problem with Rain and Shine is that it's a huge game and was my first project, which means that it is quite rough.  I keep being torn between fixing up the game, which means less content for updates, and continuing on with the main plot.  One of the main complaints for the game is that its short, and it's admittedly frustrating to sink 40+ hours a month into a game and still get those sort of comments to the point where I needed that break in the first place.

So to make a long story short Rain and Shine is getting more love and isn't being shelved, and I once again want to thank my Emerald Sabrewolves for allowing the game to happen.  If it wasn't for the overwhelming support of you guys this game development route wouldn't have happened and I would still just be a writer instead of honing my coding to making an enticing VIsual Novel game.  There is a lot of stuff happening behind the scenes to make Rain and Shine and other potential games even better.

Looking forward to your feedback in August!

Maybe you can ask people interested to the game, to help you code it, and maybe you can think more about writing ?
