Jason finds himself face to face with a rather exotic tentacle creature known as a Bal'Kar, a rubber imitation of some race that Renzyl has had encounters with outside of the Nexus realm.  His fascination leads to a more personal lesson in the anatomy of the creature via transformation and this leads the rubber dragon to propose a game to see just how well a dozen or so of his minions could fend off an invasion of such a thing.
