End of the Month Report (Patreon)

Alright, so here we are at the end of the first month of 2019.  Who would have thought that we'd get through it so quickly?  Feels like only yesterday we were making plans for the new year and now we're almost 1/12th of the way done with it already.  So as usual lets go through the month and plans for the next one.

So for patreon we've experienced a month of significant growth, which after the slight dip from before in December was definitely a great thing to see.  The fact that we're almost at four digits is mind-blowing, never did I think I would be able to reach such heights and I can only hope that it keeps going up so I can keep using the funds for stuff.  We still have to go through taxes and such but I think that we're going to be taking a major step forward.  When I was going through my seasonal depression I had talked to my mate and we decided if we want the business to grow we're going to have to put some gas on this fire.

Right now we're in the process of securing a 30k loan that we're going to use to put directly into the business.  The big investments were making is my equipment, doing things like upgrading my rig, getting me an actual work laptop, and getting higher internet speed and such.  This also means we're going to get getting covers, comics, and most importantly graphics going for Rain and Shine.  That means sprites and backgrounds, possibly even tf sequences.  If we get the loan you can expect to see a lot of stuff to try and keep this patreon growing.

The other thing that we want to use with that money is to overhaul the overlay and emotes on my twitch.  Right now Twitch is growing at a healthy clip, we recently hit twenty viewers twice in a row and have been keeping in double digits for a while.  I want to keep trying to put up more quality content and I also might throw in a IRL stream or two.  One of the things I might try to get as well is a new fursuit, which will help with that sort of thing.

Finally we're still winding down on commissions and such; we made some progress especially with the overdue projects that I have on my plate.  My February I want to get done with all the charity stories and get caught up on patreon, as well as finish the older gold and silver commissions.  It's a tall order and with February being a short month with a convention in there it'll be difficult, but doable.  Speaking of such...

February is coming and with it FurSquared!  It's my backyard con so I'll definitely be there with bells on, and if you'll be there feel free to come on in and have a chat!  I'll be running a number of panels there and also will have my Dealer's Den up, where we will hopefully have three new books ready to go.  It's also going to be tax time, so might be more of a rawry dragon than usual but going to hopefully be done and done with it by the time the month is over.

There's really not much else on February without knowing whether or not the loan is going to go through, we'll have to wait and see.  If not we just have to keep building on the patreon so that we can afford what we need to get this way.  Expect more polls and such to be coming out, including things like potential merch opportunities and game ideas for the higher up tiers.  Thank you all for being here to help support me once again and lets try and make something fun together.
