Welp, it's the end of another hot summer month, and though things started out not so great we are ending with a potentially sunny disposition.  Though I still can't say for certain that my mate is getting that promotion I can say that things are looking pretty good for it.  Unfortunately we don't have a definite answer yet, which means that any plans that would accompany it can't be expounded upon until that time comes that it either does or doesn't happen.  That being said let's go through July and then keep the speculation of August to a minimum.

So good things for July.  The word replenishment system for commissions appears to be quite the success and it's something that I plan on continuing to implement in the future.  The other big success story is Twitch, currently follower counts are going up and hopefully soon with that subscriber accounts as well.  As I mentioned before if you're on the patreon end you get the same benefits as a Twitch subscriber so hopefully we can marry the benefits together and bring in people who don't want everything else this patreon has to offer.  Though there was little growth in the patreon itself there have been a number of factors that attributed to it, which will be seen in the next paragraph.  Even with some bumps in the road I think right now the outlook despite the conclusion of my mate's job is fairly good.

Now onto the bad things.  The patreon exclusives, CYOA and Rain and Shine, both took a hit as I continued to focus on commissions so that I could continue to make money to sustain the household while the financial difficulties continued.  Void Protocol continues to remain in limbo as well, issue four not even being looked at until we can get enough scratch together in order to pay the artist to do so.  On the good side I do have 2/3rds of the next Rain and Shine update finished, which means barring something I can finish up the coding and playtesting to get it out this Monday.  Like the arcade update this one is nearly 20k in word length and features a variety of puzzles that need to be solved in order to make the laboratory your home.  The only other thing that I can put in here is that the anxiety of waiting to see what the result is of my mate's job has stunted my creativity a bit, though that will end once we hear one way or another.

Alright, enough of that, now onto August.  Like I said before I can't speculate too much on what will happen since it greatly depends on the outcome of my mate's job.  If it's a no than I have to continue to focus on commission work, if it's a yes then I can shut commissions down and devote way more time to patreon and twitch while still working on commissions to a lesser extent.  What I can say is that either way I'm hoping to continue to grow my Twitch, not only is it a lot of fun to do but I'm getting a lot of good feedback from it.  Finally I'll be at IndyFurCon at the Dealer's Den as well as running a variety of panels, so if you're going to be there feel free to stop by and say hi!

As a final note I would like to thank all my patreons here for sticking through this, especially the higher-tier ones.  Hopefully I've given out enough content that you guys are satisfied and with all the fingers crossed I'm looking forward to bringing a lot more to the table come August and September!
