how tied is the random encounter generator to normal PCs being pulled in by paranormal BBEGS? how much fantasy or modern d20 plug'n'play is possible? how does the game connect with murderhobos, fortress builders, epic quests, and currency junkies? how applicable is it to multiple game types?

You could steal many of the scenes and encounters for other games, but you would have to create new stats. This is not an OSR game and has a much more focused design goal.
