Changed In-Game Language Setting to English (Patreon)

Yesterday when starting with writing the voice over for my next video, I had this problem that I had more often in the past. It's when I try to translate a Dutch in-game word to English, but don't really know the correct translation.

This is when I thought about the possibility to change my game language settings to Englisch. After doing so, I had to wait a very long time as all English translations needed to be downloaded for the entire game with all of the packs I have. When it was finally done and I restarted the game, I found out it was just like a totally new game. So all my saves and mods were gone.

Luckely the game made an entire new folder in my documents and kept the original Dutch one too, so I could simply copy-paste all needed files over. Only downside was that I still needed to go through all intro pop-ups in game for each additional pack and all objects that weren't base game had those yellow stars again. 😅

Eventually everything looks now back to normal and I can finally find the correct English words.

Instead of switching back to Dutch, I've decided to keep it this way, so that in my videos not only my voice-over is in english, but my game too. 🙂
