Hyunjin's finger heart in the middle of God's Menu! I've seen this video so many times and never noticed it before. I love how your Mom brings up the duality of Stray Kids in interviews vs. their stage presence. She was talking about Binnie, but I think it's true of all of them. It's one of the things I love about them: how real and down to earth they are in just everyday situations, vs. when they are performing on stage. And yes, their job is not easy! They sing and dance all at the same time, and back to back. In concerts it's for hours at a time. It's crazy. The Maniac performance -- I LOVE these kind of performances from them. It's so funny watching them all try NOT to dance while they sing, but especially Hyunjin. Our dance king always dances in his own little box in these. He literally CANNOT hold still. Also, Han in this one....sir, how can you look so good in a basic t-shirt and jeans that look like you picked them up off your floor to put on this morning???

Also, I will forever love Chan hyping over Felix coming in with that "Maniac" vocal line towards the end in this! I love it.

Great reaction, I'd love to see your mom react to a more vocal-heavy song of theirs like Leave or Secret Secret.

Thanks for the reaction! :) I loved hearing you and your mom’s insights/thoughts! A couple comments: 1. When people get surprised over Felix’s voice (realizing it’s real, and also coming from the guy who looks like a pixie), we call that “The Felix Effect” 🙂 I feel like most Stays get into the group because of Felix. 2. (**Edit** This is probably a lie -> ) In God’s Menu, Lee Know has the least amount of lines. If I remember correctly, Lee Know had asked for less lines because he didn’t think his voice fit the song that well 3. They did Changbin dirty in that Maniac performance putting him next to Hyunjin 😭 He looks so tiny! Changbin is the shortest (but loudest… maybe second loudest after Lee Know) member of SKZ while Hyunjin is the tallest 4. The most popular members of SKZ are Felix and Hyunjin! For a combined number of factors. I think Felix is popular for his deep voice, being Australian/an English speaker, and how attractive he is. He’s also known to be very kind and respectful. I think Hyunjin is popular because of his stage presence/charisma, dancing, and his attractiveness. Lee Know has also grown in popularity because of his dancing, visual, and quirkiness (I think he’s more popular outside of Korea though). If we were “rank” the popularity of the members from most to least popular, it’s typically Danceracha (Lee Know, Hyunjin, Han), then 3Racha (Bang Chan, Changbin, Han), then Vocalracha (Seungmin, I.N). Though they all have their unique personalities, and Stays tend to get protective about all of them 🙂

i’m totally not taking this out on you so don’t think i’m attacking you!! but about the gods menu lee know lines thing, lee know has never said anywhere that he wanted less lines bc his “voice didn’t fit the song” that was made up by lee know antis to justify him getting no lines in the song. a lot of people believe it bc it’s really the only thing out there that even “explains” his less lines in the song, but there has never been any source of him ever saying it anywhere.

I love that she noticed how layered and not empty the music is. the term “noise music” has been leveled at them a lot, (originally as a criticism, but something they’ve taken in stride) because of how filled their music is. I’ve seen it referred to as maximillism production and I rly like that! you mentioned something about how it feels like han has 3 brains and you’ve also noticed how bright and everywhere chan and changbin are— so it’s not surprising at all that their music is the embodiment of their visionaries🤗it’s like yes! that is exactly the music they would make together! haha

hey, stray kids released two recording videos for the rockstar album i loved your reaction to the 5 star recording how you review their vocals but also kinda get into their communication and how they act around each other while working in a professional environment like producing and directing. i would love if you would do that for the rockstar recording scenes aswell
