I think you missed in the beginning that they said they normally speak informally, since they are friends, but because it’s a broadcast she asked him what he wanted to do, and he said he thought he would feel more comfortable speaking formal, that’s why she suggested they start formal and reevaluate later as V loses his nerves

What a lovely episode. Probably my favorite of his during his promotion cycle😩 Seriously loved their dynamic, had no idea they were this close but what else can you expect from Tae?? He doesn’t know a stranger, that’s for sure💜 They sounded heavenly too. I’ll sound like a broken record here, but he really is so naturally charming☺️ So happy you got around to this conversation. Thanks for your reaction and analysis, I was looking forward to it! I think they discussed about speaking formally or not cause they are actually close and don't normally use honorifics between each other. But since it's a broadcast show they don't want it to seems inappropriate towards the audience (so what's the more comfortable for them regarding that). I also think that their closeness, as they are actual friends, allowed all the teasing and I don't think V take it seriously. He was questioning the "color switch gesture" cause he smelled that she was being fishy with it. Kinda teasing her back and wanted to call her out on her teasing, more than being sensible about it (and he pranks her back at the end). He's not really the type to be affected by friendly teasing (as far as I know, he is one of the member that tease others the most, so he allows it for himself too in a sense : compilation "Taehyung being a savage"). As for V's humour I think you are right on point, their is a compilation "Taehyung saying the funniest things with a straight face" that can give you a glimpse of his jokes delivery. I think you made a good point too with him being aware of his charm but also doesn't want to overshadow others. Anyway, great episode. Very calm, with sweet chemistry. You can see they really appreciate each other. Thank you again!

great reaction!! i’m not even a fan of BTS but these videos are so interesting and engaging :) i’ll pretty much watch you react to anyone at this point lol. also idk if you take suggestions but if you do (i know you probably get a lot and are very busy so feel free to ignore me) but i love your sturniolo reactions and some of my favorites that i think you’d enjoy analyzing are: smash or pass with food + story time, they’re a 10…but they call their dad daddy, nick has a lot to say about girl scout cookies, and 100 people 1 gorilla…who wins. anyway…sorry for the random comment and suggestions. again, great video!! always look forward to your videos no matter who you’re reacting too :D i always learn so much.

IU and V are v close friends in real life. They speak to each other without honourifics. The decision to speak with honourifics is for the audience and broadcasting benefit. I believe it is to differentiate between personal and work.

Was surprised to know they’ve been close friends for a while but very happy to see V has a lot of good friends in the industry. IU said to him a lot of things us fans want to tell V. You also described V’s charms perfectly. Waiting for you to see Suchwita with V, Taehyung’s Running Man episode and VICNIC (V’s fan meeting) highlights when you have the time next.
