I was waiting for this one! I actually do agree. I love the b-side tracks more than the title track for this album. Don’t get me wrong, I love fake love but all their b sides in this was amazing. Love maze and magic shop are my fav

When I first become an army, I was an ot7 and I thought I will always be an ot7 bc I couldn’t fathom how anyone could pick one from these multitalented guys. But it’s a saying within the fandom “you don’t pick your bias, your bias picks you”. That was the case for me. Jimin took over me lol. And as day goes by my affection is getting stronger so I don’t think that’s going to change

For me namjoon’s part in the beginning of magic shop always hit me so hard. “Didn’t I tell you we will win” it just hit so hard when you know how much they faced to get where they are today

Thank you for the reaction, Max! I had to pause in between to go and watch yoongi’s MV lol. Multitasking. I can’t wait for hobi’s entrance video

Ahhhh Suga’s MV … just Yoongi throwing truths in our faces. No sugar coating… raw and vicious, warts and all

About Fake Love The moral of the song is not being said directly. They don’t directly say “stay true to yourself”. They do the opposite. They portray how bad it can be if you don’t. If we think about this as a relationship it is clearly toxic. The phrases “for you I could pretend to be happy when I was sad” and “mold a pretty lie for you” and “trying to erase myself and make me your doll” shows how far this person is willing to go, they will sacrifice everything to the point where they don’t even know who they are like jhope says “ even became quite unsure of who I was Try babbling into the mirror, who the hell are you?”. And the line “ I grew a flower that can’t be bloomed in a dream that can’t come true” shows that from the beginning it was destined to fail because the person wasn’t being true to themselves. The whole point of the Love Yourself theme is that you have to love yourself first in order to do anything else.

In Paradise the lyric “Every breath you exhale is already in the paradise” is like saying ‘when you’re breathing you’re in paradise’ which could be interpreted as just the fact that you are alive is reason enough to be happy. Achievements and goals, expectations from the society don’t have to define your happiness. You define your happiness.

Loved this stream! Things have felt quite heavy the last few days so this felt like a little break from it all and I don't know if I can claim a favourite album but this is definitely a strong contender! It was cool seeing your reaction to the untold truth, reminded me of the first couple times I listened to it and how the "but I still want you" part gave me chills. I love Paradise because musically it's a very sexy song but the lyrics are really relatable and comforting for me, I don't think I've ever personally heard a song with this exact message. For me I see the magic shop as the feeling of comfort and escapism I get from listening to their music and watching their videos and how it will always be there for me no matter what and at the same time it makes me realise that I already have all I need in my mind to feel safe and loved. Anpanman was one of the first few BTS songs that I became obsessed with and it's still in my top 5. It's a song that I feel like really sums up who BTS are and what they stand for especially as you get to see their personalities come out on stage when they perform it. Outro: Tear hits hard for so many different reasons. I mean the fact that they were seriously thinking about disbanding but wrote this song about how painful that process was and then it healing them and then releasing it to the world and then being honest to us about the story behind it. There's so much pain but so much love and that's why it's so painful but beautiful. So many of my favourite BTS songs didn't really click for me on the first, second, or even third listen. And sometimes I'll come back to a song or album months later and it will hit me in a totally different way. One of the many reasons why I love BTS's discography is that you have an ever growing and changing journey with it.

This is my favorite album, and even the structure of it was so well thought out, like the journey that the album just takes you on is so wonderful and there’s so much variety and themes and yet it’s still cohesive. Absolute masterpiece in my opinion 😂 Magic shop is my favorite bts song and it is my comfort song when I’m feeling down. I’m excited for you to watch a performance of it, i find it so moving. Just hits different !

I couldn't join this livestream, so I was so excited to watch the recording. LY: Tear is one of my top albums ever and Outro: Tear is one of my top songs ever. I teared up listening to you dissecting the lyrics again.

Love Yourself: Tear is one of my favourite BTS albums! It's just soo good! And Outro: Tear and Paradise are two of my all-time top BTS songs! I didn't really vibe with So What until they performed it live although the lyrics are great. Fun fact: Jungkook produced Magic Shop! It was his first time producing for the group.
