This era is one of my fav. I can’t pick a jimin favorite song. All of them are equally good in my eyes and each of them give a unique jimin style. Serendipity is one of jimin’s heart fluttering songs. The music video is aesthetically pleasing to the eyes, his vocal color is stunning and the live performance is magical. I remember some armies showing this video to their friend who never saw bts and the guy after reacting to this says he got tears bc when he looked at jimin, he felt safe. It sounds corny but we call that the jimin effect

I really hope in one of the livestream, you will react to best of me live performance or their practice video bc the choreography is amazing. We jokingly say that namjoon wrote dimple while looking at himself in a mirror (bc he is known for his beautiful dimple lol).

I really can’t pick a fav from this album but but everything about pied piper is whole another level And namjoon’s part in mic drop is my fav RM part from bts songs. He was wayy too hot in that song. From the second he came out of ambulance, his verse, his style and the lyrics all was too hot.

Jimin’s prerelease song is coming on 17th and the full album is dropping on 24th. As always, thank you for taking your time to react to this with us, Max. We really appreciate your honest reactions

Yeeeee I’ve been looking forward to this ! Love yourself era is my favorite era, probably has a lot to do with it was the most recent era when I discovered bts. It actually wasn’t until I was watching this livestream that I realized each of my top 3 favorite bts songs each come from 1 of the love yourself albums. And this one is pied piper! I just cannot get enough of it, I love it so much. And the performance is next level. Obviously I love that we watch the lyric videos bc focus on the lyrics is vastly important but it’s always nice to remember too that their charisma brings the songs to life in a whole new way when they actually are performing. Also omg I laughed out loud so hard when you were so deadpan like “wow Pamela you’ve listened to this song 100 times today?!” Hahah that killed me. This was so fun! Can’t wait for more

Yessss I love the best of me choreo! I also think eventually mic drop dance practice (with all 3 dance breaks) is awesome and go go performance also so fun.

pied piper has no reason to be so addicting.. which is fitting for the song😩😭

Idk if I already said this but the love yourself era is my first BTS love. LY: Her really is just one bop after another, I love listening to it from start to finish and it always puts me in a positive/hyped mood. It's hard not to write a paragraph on every song cause they're all so good. Serendipity is like a lullaby for me, it's probably my favourite Jimin solo (which might soon change though). From what I understand Namjoon writes from personal experiences but tries to make the lyrics as universally relatable as possible so that's probably why it's not always easy to tell what the songs are about/ if they're about a specific experience. But yeah Yoongi's lyrics are more obviously about his specific experiences and Hobi is similar but he sometimes writes about the experiences of the world around him. When I first heard Serendipity and watched the MV I straight away interpreted it as being about self love but now knowing how Joon writes I would probably say that it's about a romantic relationship but either interpretation works of course. The lyrics to Dimple are so funny but catchy, got me wishing that I was an illegirl 😭 Pied Piper is iconic, to me it's them recognising the affect that they have on army and kinda loving it but also feeling a little guilty about it, they're very self aware and I would say a lot of army are too. It's also one of those musically timeless tracks, it feels like it could have been released today. The Steve Aoki version was the first one I heard of Mic Drop so I always only listened to that one and the original sounded like it was missing something but after their performance of it at the Busan concert I find myself reaching for the OG version more now. The music show performances of GO GO really helped pull me in early on. Sea is so beautiful, I love listening to it when I'm feeling a little sad and angsty. Everything about that performance of Dimple & Pied Piper is... Captivating

Jimins voice is incredible

When the album dropped, SEA broke me, I interpreted the song as hardship = desert, they stayed in that desert following a mirage, because they saw the sea in the distance, but when they actually succeeded, when they reached the sea, as RM puts it, maybe the sea was just a blue desert, meaning nothing really changed, the hardships were still there, just a different color. It breaks my heart the thought that they worked so hard for a goal that maybe felt empty or meaningless in the end… at least they felt that way at that time
