I think their dynamic is less of a group of friends and more of a family. Like usually you become friends with people who are like minded or you have something in common with, but with family you could be completely different people but have that connection that's like no other. They usually say that Jiung is the stern dad of the group because he really likes things in order and can even come off as a little conservative. It doesn't mean he doesn't have fun or make fun of the members (he absolutely does) but compared to Keeho and Intak who feel very free and go-with-the-flow type people, he's kind of a pillar who feels like he's very grounded and has everything planned out ahead. I think that the age gap between the members also has something to do with their odd-feeling dynamics because a comfortable friendship can be a bit difficult when it comes to people who are just 16-17 (soul & jongseob in this interview) still in high school and others who are 21 (Theo, Jiung, & Keeho). Just 4 years is not a big deal, in the grand scheme of things especially when they're a few years older, but at this age the gap between being a teenager and being in your twenties feels completely different because you're already at different stages of your life. I think that's why their dynamics feels different compared to the other groups you checked out, right now they're a mix of adults and teenagers in one group. I think that's why Intak (who's 19) is kind of the perfect middle ground not just in age but his personality too. It's like he's the bridge for their dynamics because he really is a very positive energetic guy; they describe Jiung as the stern dad, Theo as the fun dad, Keeho as the comforting mom, and Intak is their family golden retriever because he never fails to just lighten up the atmosphere. ( they call soul and jongseob "the twins" since they're very close because they're the same age and the babies of the group)

It's so amazing to see you pick up on so much of their personalities! Thank you so much for reacting to P1harmony! They have self introductions (3 videos, 2 members at a time) if you'd like to see them talk about each other! https://youtu.be/eSUj4oVeRMQ

Some things about their behavior you hinted at that I’ll throw my two cents on for some fan context: - Keeho and Theo are shit starters. Neither has trouble saying what is on their minds, even to fans, sometimes to their detriment. They are the oldest, so Jongseob as the youngest really looks at them for approval and behavioral cues a lot. - Keeho isn’t about to make fun of Soul. (Which the others take a lot of cues from. They laugh at Soul’s jokes, but don’t give him shit that they do Keeho, Theo, Jiung or Jongseob). Soul is Keeho’s baby, and Soul calls Keeho his dad. While Soul is second youngest, he has the feeling of being the actual youngest because he has this innocence about him. Partly due to his weird quirkiness and partly because he is Japanese and is still trying to acclimate to Korean, much less to English too. So he talks a lot with gestures or strange little noises. - The guys mentioned on the last video you watched that Theo is always posing. You mentioned in this one that he seems to always be aware of how he comes off. Really, I think Theo is incredibly self conscious and makes extra effort to not make any kind of movements or gestures that could be photographed badly, to always sit in ways that show his best light, so that he can put forward the best image of himself he can. He wants to be seen and noticed but seems to be extremely conscious of the fact that if he doesn’t come across right then he will have consequences, be it him beating himself up, the group teasing, or maybe even the label has been difficult on this front. I think they had to take selfie classes, so maybe he had issues and it has resulted in a bit of a complex. At least it seems that way if you watch him in earlier videos up til now. It’s like he’s slowly getting more comfortable with showing himself. I recommend the full group’s interview with Eric Nam. Eric really puts people at ease and gets them to let their walls down.
