liah !

I missed your ateez reactions! I recommend watching their twister interview, it’s really entertaining https://youtu.be/XknURO3AeJU

You should watch them when they call their parents. If I don't remember wrong it's from the same episode as this one!

Thank you so much for reacting to and analyzing this, it was fun to watch! If you wanted to do another ATEEZ video, I agree about the calling their parents video! For an interesting interview format video, I would also recommend the SNS Review interview video (https://youtu.be/xcqNTOQpqaQ), where they basically discuss their past as a group and as individuals through their presence on social media and also correct their wiki info if it's incorrect. For more teasing/silly ATEEZ, you could also watch one of their Human Idol Theater episodes, which is kind of faux-documentary style with goofy interview sections and a voiceover. The first one (https://youtu.be/1zUP7Bu48lw) is missing Yunho, but he's in the second one (https://youtu.be/HpiTSTlWRaA) if you wanted to watch one with everyone. I don't believe you'd be missing any important context if you watched the more recent one first. Stray Kids also has a lot of these that are also very fun!

Love seeing some more ATEEZ here! It definitely feels odd to get those messages delivered through yelling, but as you said we can still see the love in the way they listen at each other here. For Mingi, I think he downplayed himself more in earlier days, feeling very self-conscious and burdened when put on the spot to do/say something funny, and now he's turned that into more positive energy like either embracing more the awkwardness or boosting himself up too. Seonghwa once said "It's hard not to love Wooyoung. And he knows it, that's the problem" which rings so true haha. Yeosang does have his savage moments, and he has a very sarcastic humour too that comes out when he'll tease the members that is really funny to me exactly because he won't talk much, but watch out when he does :D

+1 on the SNS Review interview video especially! Since they're each going through their individual profiles it gives a balanced screen time too. There's also the Vogue interview which is by pair that can be nice to check out: https://youtu.be/cxeUs9ZXlXQ

I had missed Ateez on your Patreon <3

I personally didn’t think their words lost meaning because they had to scream. It wasn’t intimate, but they were still sincere and they paid attention to what everyone wanted to say. I still thought it was very honest and I don’t think it would have been more meaningful if they had all been sitting and chatting. More intimate for sure, but not necessarily more meaningful. :)

To give you more context, and if I remember correctly, "screaming confessions" was a teamwork exercise 2nd gen kpop groups would do a lot on shows. Just like that one BTS video you reacted to, where the boys were on a rooftop with their staff and Hitman Bang. So, it's not necessarily a segment about deep feelings and emotional talk. Actually, most of the time, it's more about confessing your "wrongdoings" (like Yunho and Wooyoung did or Suga when he revealed he was the one stealing JK's underwear). It's also the opportunity to complain about stuff you weren't brave enough to voice before. But here, I guess Jongho going first set the tone for the rest of them. And with how much they love each other, I'm not surprised most of them decided to go with more meaningful messages conveying how thankful they are. I think because your first impression of them was interviews, performances, or very early content when they were still rookies, you may be surprised by some of the members' personalities if you watch their behind-the-scenes/variety shows. For example, Yeosang is very funny and savage/blunt but it's so inconspicuous that, as you said, if you're not looking for it, you'll definitely miss it. But it is true that he is also very innocent and pure, to the point that everyone agrees (fans, members, family, former fellow trainees, and classmates) that he needs to be protected. Thanks for reacting for Ateez, definitely missed them on your Patreon.

I just restocked my tissue box, so I'd be more than ready for a video like that. But more seriously, It's a really good suggestion cause Ateez are always very vocal about their family. And yup it was on the same episode, from "28:53" to "40:33" (~10min) : https://youtu.be/KXohTMfTOUg?t=1733
