Finally got around to watching these live stream recordings! Took me awhile haha. Epiphany wasn't written by Jin although he does an amazing job of embodying the song. The song was written by Bang Si Hyuk /Bang PD (their boss). RM talks about it in his Love Yourself: answer Behind vlive at about 33 mins. Bang PD is also credited as the writer in the official credits. RM does many vlives like this one after an album release to talk to Army and answer questions + go in depth about the album. Trivia:Love is also from the Love Yourself: Answer album. It's a song dedicated to love itself. Love from the fans and the love that RM feels for the fans and the world, and love for the self which he struggles with. He wrote it with the purpose of singing it live to Army so they could interact and have a call and response. It's a beautiful song with intricate lyrics and wordplay. "In Korean, the word for people is 시람 (saram), and the word for the action of loving (to love, as a verb or as a noun) is 시랑 (sarang). Only a one letter difference, just like the English words love and live is a letter apart." I really think more than anything, one of the best ways to get to know the boys is through their music. Their music and lyrics are created by them and for them so they are the perfect way to peer into their souls. Specifically I think the Shadow, Ego and Persona from the rap line and My Time by JK, Lie or Promise (soundcloud) by Jimin, Abyss (soundcloud song by Jin as you've already seen Epiphany) and for Taehyung Inner Child or Singularity stage performance to see more of his on-stage presence. This is for the ITS bit. JK & Jimin are most critical of themselves in the group. All the guys are critical of themselves but I think it’s Jin who is least critical in the group. He is more of go with the flow but I’m not saying that he doesn’t give his 100%. He more of I did the best I could do with my ability and seems to be content with it now. Also on the BV; it’s ok if you just want to react/analyse certain parts but I would suggest to watch the entire thing on your own time if you do not want to react. As that will give you a much broader and deeper understanding of the circumstances. I would say this for ITS episodes as well; you should check out the other episodes as well on your own. There are a lot of compilation videos, parts of videos from series but they don’t necessarily give 100% context if you don’t know the full picture. Also I feel you should see Let’s BTS interview as it is one of the recent ones where they talk about their dynamics. Festas are also there but this was an interview done with like an interviewer. I don’t know if you’ll see this comment as Patreon doesn’t give notifications when someone comments/DMs but it was great seeing your reaction!!
