Omg, I was literally watching a bV ep but this is so exciting so im going to bookmark!!! I hope you check out Jins festa performances too, but in the meantime I cant wait to rewatch the live with you, it was so Jin! <3

To be honest I don’t think he puts on that cute act I feel like he is just naturally like that he gets shy easily it’s funny cause sometimes he’s the most confident member but other times he’s the first to get red in the face when someone looks at him for too long. I cant wait for you to watch his live show thanks for your reaction ❤️

agreed! Jimin said Jin is pure/innocent and RM said Jin has a calming presence and day one ARMY knows Jin has always been the baby of his family so despite growing into a mature, discerning guy- he does have an unassuming, sweet personality and good principles hence the military didn't change him one bit.

it's ok to call him cute max, if there's anyone who is sweet at their core it's Jin. And yes I did find it funny that HYBE and Jin were going back and forth like bickering siblings... but it was truly so sweet to see after 18 months of living a new life Jin still loved us In the purest way and wanted to share it. I loved seeing the boys reunite with him and hug him tight, they really showed once again how much they prioritize one another. Did you see the pictures they took together after Jins live? And omg you're right, I didn't think of how much of a workout 1000 hugs is, but if anyone could do it a military personnel definitely could lol. Anyways they all look AMAZING and I think you're right that people were worried but the military seemed to be an experience they're all thriving in though as you'll in their letters, it only makes them miss us more. Appreciated this so much! <3 edit: and YES I would pay millions for just one hug with Jin, it would be like hugging a fluffy cloud!

Hi! The man giving him the flowers is the CEO of Hybe! Being able to be all together is the most important thing to BTS. Jin left just weeks after their last performance, although they did have similar moments long enough to say goodbye as the other guys enlisted. If you had been able to zoom in or slow it down, there were very touching and meaningful hugs and greetings among the other members, for example Jimin and Tae. Yoongi was in the limo, he's not allowed to be out in public like this because of his social services job. He was at the gathering with everyone else and there is a beautiful photo of all together.

I think bts members have wastly different emotions about enlistment. I think Jin and Tae really enjoyed aspects of it (i don't say fully, cause ultimately it was not their free will choice) but I think judging from the letter RM and Jimin probably have the least pleasure in situation. Rm specifically, cause i think he is pacifist, and he even inserted his personal opinion on that in his speech he did on se ay event and which was edited by the media, cause it had pacifistic connotation. Idk about JK and Yoongi, Yoongi could actually enjoy the type of work he does if it is smth social (we don't know anything about it though). I also think Hobi could enjoy his time. I just think Jin, Hobi, Tae are the types to take maximum from the situation or in Taes cade - enjoy challenge

I know ARMY felt some kinda way about the whole Military enlistment (I did too on some level), but a larger part of me was kinda glad they were enlisting. The reason being, I know that in South Korea its practically a rite of passage for all the men to do their military service, its such a basic conversation starter for Korean men to ask "Oh, when was your service / how did it go / what was it like?". So I ended up looking at it more like, BTS already misses out on so much of normalcy just by being BTS, so I didn't want them to be deprived of this experience...and now seeing how happy Jin looks about his achievements and time in the military, I'm so happy that they are all doing this. 💜

I agree with all of this. I think Namjoon, in particular, hates it. Almost every single post or letter he sends makes it seem like he's miserable and is counting down the days until discharge. In fact, he posted a screenshot showing it was the 1 year countdown mark just last week. He will be bags packed, sitting by the door at dawn on discharge day! Jungkook also said it's been hard in his letter so I don't think he's having a good time either. Tae and Hobi seem like they're enjoying it, or at least making the best of it.

Another delightful video. I'm so happy that Jin is back and that you reacted. I hope you react or do a livestream for the performance too. It was a good one! There have been no sightings of him since those four in the first two days (gates, weverse live, hug event, and performance event). I really hope he's getting a well deserved break right now!

It'a a great positive perspective 🙂. But I will be honest, most korean men brag about military but 99% of them say if they had to choose they would have never wanted to go, and the choice is the same before and after. BTS tho has that general positive outlook in life so it feels they are all adapting well, making friends and doing their best, tho I'm sure they are all counting the days untill they are back on stage (most of them said this in the festa letters)

Yoongi is allowed to be in public as much as the others are, same rules apply as far as I know, but most public figures that do alternative service tend to lay low to avoid gossip, since it is considered a much easier task than the usual enlistment, it's mostly an office job, after 8 hours you get to go home and do whatever. In order to avoid discussion around it, it seems that he chose to be totally absent online or offline for the 2 years, besides the all 7 members picture at enlistment/discharge and the festa letter they all wrote.

Do you know if he has security or transportation to and from or if he drives himself? The others have the safety of their bases. Lee Min Ho had issues being dogged by fans.

I think we all knew bts would do well in the military, but it is very lucky just how well they did/are doing :) There are many horror stories of especially idols being bullied or hurt in the military. It's easy for people to get a power trip from putting down someone who is often viewed as "above" their station (idk how to say it) and seems like the military is often not a very good experience for idols. I'm happy it was so good for Jin and hopefully it is for the rest of the members too.

When he was apologing and said he was not paying attention about the process for the hug he was talking about the parameters that the company initially listed in order to be put into the lottery. They listed several albums and wanted you to purchase them right then in order for your name to be placed into the lottery. The more you purchased the more entries you got. There was an large outcry from army because most of us had already purchased these albums upon their release. The company did eventually change the parameters to allow the previous purchase to count toward the lottery.

I loved that afterwards, many ARMY took the beautiful bouquets he gave them and had them set into some sort of acrylic base for permanent keepsakes. They were so pretty!
