What's up party people!
One of my favourite Suga/AgustD tracks! Always fun bringing Eli into the reaction.

Would love for you to check out more of the rose (woosung featured on this song is the lead singer for the rose). They are amazing and also hilarious!

I 100% agree. They are amazing and the way Woosung speaks about music (specifically his solo project moth) never ceases to amaze me. I feel like I’ve never seen anyone who looks at music quite like him.

When IU asked Suga why he cried while singing this song at a concert, Suga shared that this song is about what he wanted to say to younger artists, but also what he himself wanted to hear. He said, "If I had heard something like this when I was younger, maybe I wouldn't have had such a hard time." Therefore, performing this song at the concert likely stirred a mix of complex emotions within him and brought back memories from his past. This song became even more beautiful and somehow heartbreaking to me when l realized that those lyrics were not only about what he wanted to say to younger artists, but also what he wanted to tell himself. He is such a beautiful artist and a person

Oh btw, this video is fan-made, so the subtitles aren't that perfect. There are parts where the lyrics lag behind(not in sync), and the subtitle "It's like a poetry" is actually a mistranslation of "Fuck this shit"(There's no exact English expression to match the Korean, so it would be enough to understand it in this nuance) It seems like a translation error caused by the similarity of the characters. Original lyrics: Cry out loud, when you become to hate the world when the hands that used to greet you turn into fingers pointed at you It’s okay to let out a big sigh and yell out fuck this shit Because you too are just a human, like everyone else

Haha loved Party People, Max! As Jungkook says "party party yeah!". Great video, the interpretation was on point! Yoongi is also my bias and a very special human being to me. I've been in this bangtan life's been a while, 9 years I guess, so I had the chance to learn a lot of these men's lives, at least what they let us know of course, and the connection with Yoongi was automatic, I totally relate to his life history till amygdala, and as I know all the facts I feel very protective of him. Weird right? I'm so glad even having gone through all he did, he open the door with a smile on his face. How proud I am of that genius cat! Thank you for the video, it was very special, I'd love to see one about amygdala, your interpretation, your conclusions, it will be really interesting and a great way to learn how to listen others say their sincere idea of the story behind amygdala whiteout feeling really protective for knowing the details. Take care!

Ryuichi Sakamoto was one of Japan's most respected artists who died about a month before this song was dropped. Sakamoto was open about his illness and shared his last thoughts with public. Seeing him encouraging Suga with gentle smile makes me cry and the song gives me a great comfort.
