"yoongi bias reacts to yoongi" caption is so cute 🥹 Max, thanks for the video. edit as I watch along: As far as I know, Yoongi and Max have a good relationship and they've hung out a few times privately. If I had to guess, why it was maybe a little bit awkward, is because Yoongi is thinking of putting on a show and checking if everything is set as it should be, not thinking of chatting with Max. There are also a lot of people around so I guess I'd be awkward too. From my experience, english is not my native language, I have a brother in-law who's from London. I can talk with him for hours but when we're at a family event I get really shy when talking with him in english in front of everyone (even if people around as don't speak english at all) and yes, I also feel like Yoongi's closer with Halsey. From what they've let us see, they are actually friends in real life. One time Halsey posted a photo of Yoongi holding her baby son, it was blurred but also the cutest thing I've ever seen in my life.

I have so much respect for Yoongi, not above all members but in a different way I guess. Just the way he carries himself and focuses on everything. He is such a professional and amazing human. I don't even know if I can put into words what I could say about him. By the way the accident he is referring to is when he was a delivery driver and got hit by a car. He was working to put himself through college in the early days of BTS because he didn't think the company could pay for it and his family couldn't either and didn't tell the company because he was scared they'd get rid of him. He rehearsed and performed with a horrific shoulder injury which was only operated on in the last few years. Even some of the members didn't know what happened, he told them he fell down stairs (you can see this story in one of their movies I forget which maybe Burn The Stage). This is a lot of the reason I admire him so highly. There are many places to read about it but here is one if you're interested. Yoongis journey has been heartbreaking but speaks volumes about his strength and resilience as a human being. I really love seeing people wearing Yoongi T-shirt while watching Yoongi video lol Sorry if you've already seen this or if it's been recommended, but l hope you react to Episode 27 of Suchwita someday, where Yoongi talks with El Capitan about their friendship! They have a really deep and honest conversation, and you can also hear what Yoongi felt deep down when he was performing or preparing for the tour

So, one of your most endearing qualities is how, when something strikes you, you look at the camera as if to say, ‘hey! Did you get that too?!’ Even though there’s no one actually there 😆 it’s so sweet. I’d suggest watching Suchwita with Yoongi and ElCapitan. It’s the last episode he filmed. It is unbelievably sweet seeing Yoongi and his best friend. It also supports what we already know… Yoongi is a top tier human. We should be so lucky to have a one friend like him in our lifetime 💜💜💜

Wow, you have a good memory if you remembered el capitxn’s face just from a thumbnail and identified him in a few seconds of moving footage while also reading subtitles! I’ve always admired your ability to watch one video of a group and immediately remember all the faces and names. You might actually like his suchwita episode. They’re good friends and talk about their history together. He did seem awkward with Max. I think he’s not quite fully confident in his English yet, though I also think he knows more than he thinks he does. Max and Yoongi have collaborated a few times before. Max featured on Agust D’s Burn It, and Suga featured on Max’s Blueberry Eyes. He IS closer with Halsey. I don’t know if you remember the Yoongi doc that included footage of him visiting her house and her doing his hair? She also posted a Christmas collage one year that included a picture of him holding her baby. I think the bts members have all said that she’s their closest American musician friend. Yes, he had a motorbike accident while delivering food in the rain in his trainee days. That’s how he injured his shoulder (leading to years of pain, then surgery, and now civil service instead of active duty military service) I’m not sure if you’ve heard, but they’re airing a cinematic cut of his concerts in movie theaters Apr 10-13. It’s cool to watch on the big screen surrounded by likeminded fans. More about Yoongi and Halsey: They’ve collaborated on multiple songs by now (Boy With Luv, Suga’s Interlude, Lilith). Halsey posted a collage of Yoongi pics on his birthday with the caption “happy bday twin”. What everyone else said but also, I don't think he was prepared for gift giving and it was awkward. You notice he gave Halsey a signed album after and he didn't have anything prepared for Max. It would have made me feel awkward. Idk.

that's a good point. I know it's all speculation but Max might have gotten an album from Yoongi before since he's in Korea often. He had a collab with a member of le sserafim and I've seen clips of him in Hybe's building. But yeah, a lack of gift in exchange might have been a cause of awkwardness.

From one Yoongi bias to another - this was so fun to rewatch with you! I do think Yoongi still has a bit of that social awkwardness that all us introverts have. We can’t know how often he’s hung out with Max before but I think he’s known Halsey longer and has collaborated more often with her. They seemed to have had similar struggles with mental health and express themselves through music in similar ways, and thanks to his “Road to D-Day” documentary we know that he’s been over to Halsey’s place to hang out with her, her partner, and her son. She even did his hair and they took an epic twinsies selfie. It was very sweet. Their most recent collab was a remix of Halsey’s song “Lilith” for the Diablo IV soundtrack - they added in a verse for Yoongi and they both appeared in a creepy cool Diablo-themed music video for the song. :-)

Thank you, Max. YOONGI SAVED MY LIFE IN 2016 WITH THE SONG "THE LAST", guess that trilogy and a great part of his healing started with that song, for ppl like me and others that went through the "same" issue is a very hard but cathartic song to listen, then the story of the human Min Yoongi is unraveled after that song, what he told us ofc a d w amygdala we get more I formation about his family. Yoongi is a force of nature, he doesn't know, maybe has an idea, but healing himself putting his traumas out in form of music he heals us that went through something similar. Again, thank you very much for the respect and sensibility towards the song and all the topics of his life, our lives, even not knowing 90% of the actual facts. You're really amazing! Take care! 💜
