Born in a favela in Brazil, Juliana lived with her ill mother, working as maid in the upper class of the city, despite living a harsh life, making sure to pay the bills and assist her mom. 

Constantly attracting looks and hearing all kinds of stupid things while working for a minimum wage, Juliana also trained part time as boxer in a traditional ring in her favela. One day, Juliana got caught in bed with one of her employers. The husband, seeing Juliana having some fun with his wife, tried to attack her, but she defended herself and won the fight. With word out in the streets, Juliana lost all opportunities of work, but got noticed by a local member of the Underground League council, who invited her to join the League...
