Hello! Some weeks ago I talked to you guys about a project that I have been working in secret for the past months. I think it is time to share more as well as what is planned to be released on the first version of the game.

There are still some good months to correct bugs, playtest balance, fix gramatical errors and more, but the first version of the game is already pretty solid.

Savage Dungeons is my most ambitious project to date. It's an RPG Life-Sim game that incorporates many NSFW elements. While these adult elements are a significant part of the experience, the game primarily aims to be an engaging and immersive RPG.

Setting and Story

You start as a prisoner in the Savage Dungeons—a vast underground complex where criminals and misfits are sent. Despite its dark nature, some inhabitants strive to build a society. Many men and women are innocent, born to past prisoners or unjustly condemned. This setting is ideal for an adult game: a place where law is scarce and mature themes naturally fit into the environment.

Gameplay and Choices

In the Savage Dungeons, you determine your own fate. Choose between a male or female character and shape your life. You can earn money by exploring and looting dungeons, hunting monsters, joining factions, or becoming a professional fighter in the Underground Arena of the main city.

The game offers an open-ended approach. There are numerous questlines and storylines, all presented as optional. There is no main quest or "chosen one" plot—you must carve out your own path and impact the world. This game is challenging. If you want your female character to dominate male fighters, you can—but only if you earn it. There are no easy paths in the Savage Dungeons.

Ongoing Development and Support

This project is ongoing. With enough support and interest, I plan to expand the world with more cities, quests, mechanics, and much more. The game will be free, but support is crucial. I'm not working alone, and due to the scope of the project, I will create a separate Patreon for it. Patrons will receive updates first and access to some exclusive mechanics.

Planned Features for the First Release

  • Factions: Choose between the Abyss Wardens (adventurers protecting Underjewel from dark creatures) and the Twilight Archivists (magic researchers obsessed with dark relics and rituals, believing such knowledge can help them escape the Savage Dungeons).

  • Arena Boxing Fights: Enter the arena and face various fighters. Winning increases your reputation and earns you money. There will be at least five different female opponents, with optional futa fighters exclusive to Patreon. Male fighters and tournaments will be added post-launch. Each win or loss will affect your relationship with the fighters, creating ongoing rivalries.

  • Dungeon/World Enemies: Over seven distinct enemies with custom renders for defeat scenes - and victory, in some cases - already confirmed for the first release.

  • Companions: Two companions with unique quests, NSFW scenes, special interactions, and distinct personalities.

  • Dateable Characters: Some fighters will have special interactions outside the arena, though not all will be available as companions.

  • Main City - Underjewel: The hub of the game, featuring shops, houses, a tavern, markets, and a bank where players can store money and develop the city.

  • Random and Secret Events: You can be walking around the dungeons and find event and secret quest triggers. These events will keep the world organic and natural.

  • Character Backstory choices that shape the game: At the start of the game, you decide on the backstory of your character. Why did he/she ended up down in the Savage Dungeons? Your decision can shape the game and the way the world interacts with you.

Release Timeline

While I don't have a specific release month, I aim to launch the first version on itch.io between August and November.

You might think that this entire idea is too ambitious - And you are totally right! Here is the thing: The graphics of the gameplay itself are very simple, pixelated and retro, which makes development easier. You get the sexy action on the renders, like the one you see on this post. Also, I have the help of a friend with the scripts and I also am trying to get some other 3D artists to help me with some side-stuff. For example, I got a friend of mine and artist Biggestbrawler to help me with some set of images to giantesses enemies, as I believe it would fit the setting.
