In this Sunday episode of the show, James and I discuss what's been going on at the Euros, England's draw with Scotland, coaches being conservative rather than brave and how that applies to Gareth Southgate, and there is the beginning of what is going to be an Olympic karate/Hollywood sensation. Then we answer listener questions about the timing of our transfer business, selling players we like at an earlier age, looking to South America for signings this window, Aubameyang playing some casual football during the off-season, that lot down the road trying to secure a new manager, and lots more besides.

Here is the Thiago Alcantara interview mentioned in the podcast.

Finding the discussion from Ronaldo’s backheel onwards really interesting, how close are we to this dystopia becoming a reality? https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=G5D8jhlXLnw Nike managed to predict most of the themes, but I suppose the writing has been on the wall for a while..

Good interview with Thiago, Thanks for posting. Cesc said something similar at the beginning of the tournament on Hakan Çalhanoğlu. To paraphrase, I like this player, He's not robotic. In a Cesc accent.
