Clean UI Pre-Release (Patreon)

Don't like the new UI, or is it even causing migraines? No worries with this mod - get the original minimalist UI back with a single package download.

If you notice any issues, please let me know.


Instructions:
Download the package file directly to your mods folder. When you start your game you'll have all the original UI elements instead of the new marketing.


Edit: Just realized we hit the EP giveaway goal last night. I'll make a post on that tomorrow! ^_^

Edit 2: UI Cheat Extensions were not working with my mod. I've updated the download to make it compatible. This version still has some issues with squished logos and misplaced animatics in certain languages. That fix will come tomorrow.

Edit 3: Updated to match the Release version. Language/Animatic issues fixed.

THANK YOU! I don't care for the new UI. I am glad you made a fix for it! <3 I just booted up and the game seems to load faster too. I don't know if maybe it was just in my head but it felt like the rebrand slowed loading down a bit. It could have just been me though.

It works! Thank you so much! Now, I can finally play the game again! (My sensory sensitivities were preventing me from doing so.) This makes a big difference.

Do you have UI Cheat Extensions? I'll have to make a compatible version for it since we share the same files.

After starting the game, the image on the main menu is either black or enlarged. After exiting to the main menu from build mode, the house I was making showed up in the background.

When did you download? I just updated it about an hour ago fit compatibility with the ui cheats extension mod. If that's not your problem, which language are you playing in?

Returns the ui to the old style. EA rebranded to a blue theme

ok so for some reason my comment wasn't posted: the UI works great in game, however the main screen is not so clean. initially it boots to a black screen, it goes away when i browse through the game covers, but those aren't centered, see here: https://nightllocksims.tumblr.com/post/186374548975

I'm having the same problem. I tried it with and without any other mods and cc. I'm on English in Australia. Thanks for your awesome effort with this mod though!

You're welcome to try it. As long as his mod is alphabetically after mine it will work. If it's not you might need to rename it with a z in front

No intro works for me with this mod too.

No Intro and Quiet lot intro-travel also work with this as well.
