You can also add some custom, Pride-themed ponchos to your cats by downloading this file! A version compatible with Quest can be downloaded here.
These mischievous felines get their name from the trademark ponchos they’re never seen without! But though they enjoy dishing out a prank or two, their love for making people laugh seems to earn them smiles wherever they go. Being cute and clumsy helps too, I guess!
Poncho Cats are a very simple and experimental Avatar Base for VRChat, created as a collaboration project between Sapah (modeling) and Senty (design)! They’ve been developed primarily with PC players in mind, with features that cater to both VR and desktop users.
Because of their simplicity and our wish to have them reach as many players as possible, they are entirely free to download! That said, if you feel like supporting the creators, please consider dropping a tip at Sapah’s Ko-fi page, or supporting Senty through this Patreon page!
Features
- Great for desktop users: A toggle that disables arm tracking and visuals, making it look like your arms are tucked neatly inside your poncho.
- Six different color palettes to choose from!
- Six expressions mapped to your right-hand gestures (can be locked).
- A toggle for the poncho’s hood.
- A toggle for just the paws, letting you move with your hands inside or outside the poncho as you prefer.
Dependencies
- Poiyomi Shader 8.0X
- Basic knowledge of how to upload VRC Avatars through Unity
- VRChat’s currently supported Unity Version and SDK. (These can be found on the official VRChat website.)
