In regards to recent Patreon emails (Patreon)

As other creators have said- I want to reassure everyone that you should support only what you're comfortable with! 

Even $1 a month is a bigger help for me than I can describe, and I don't want any of my Patrons to feel pressured to donate more than they can or want to.  

Recently, Patreon has been emailing some users with messages urging or reminding them that they could be raising their pledges, and I want to establish that I don't endorse this practice!!
Big donations help me plenty, but every single pledge counts, and your own finances are always your first priority! I will never resent you if you lower your pledge, or even if you find yourself having to withdraw it.
