Site Navigation Help or Where the heck is the content? (Patreon)

Hello, Hexxet here,

This post is meant to give you an overview of how I post and how you can efficiently find the available content on my Patreon site.

Short guide:

• Use the Tag System: At the top of the post part of this page (depicted in the screenshot below) there is a search option and also some static Tags. Use those Tags to find posts that contain comic content. All my Con-Tier-Comics can be found with the Collection-Tag. Other older content is of no real relevance to you (newsfeeds, polls that are over etc.).
• Download my comics and save them to your harddrive. With an Afficionado/Connoisseur-Tier Membership you have access to my most recent stories. Each time a new story comes out the oldest still available story will be archived. So, you should download my stories as they come out, or at the end of the month. After that, you will soon loose access to the older stories. [This is because the Patreon payment models and the way I want my content distributed, do not work out together :C]
• Wanna catch up with the Main-Story? Here's the Post containing all completed Main-Story Chapters (in pdf & zip): Office Party - The Story so far
• Interested in my older stories that are not available in a Con-Tier Membership anymore? They are either available for purchase in my gumroad-shop or you can upgrade to a Time Bundle here on Patreon. With the 1/3/6-Months Bundles you can send me a message which month(s) you want to have and I will send you a download link to the corresponding stories. And with the "Time Bundle - EVERYTHING" you get access here on Patreon to a post that contains all stories ever created by me in various zip folders for download (no communication needed ^^). You can get an overview of all my Stories so far in this post. [PS: If you are currently in a yearly membership and are interested in purchasing past stories, contact me via Patreon message. Sadly Patreon is very inflexible in this scenario.]
• Time Bundle - EVERYTHING: If you are on this Tier you can use the archive Tag to get to this post here, which contains zips for all comics I have ever created. You can also use the archived-Tag, which will show older single comic posts. (Please note that my oldest posts are not there anymore because I only started later to archive the single posts. So, to get really everything you should use the Archive-Post and the zip downloads.)
• Want to order a commission? How that works you can find here :)
• Is there an overview of all your characters? Yes there is: Cast of Office Party & Cast of The lost Temple. Also, there is this little story highlighting some of my characters. And there is the Special Character Overview.

Long guide:

Sadly content management on Patreon is terrible. While I would love to offer a section that is easily accessible and contains all my comics in a nice overview, that is simply not possible. (While Patreon has announced to do something in that direction, I don't believe anything helpful will come out in the neat future). In the meantime, we have to work with what is there, and that is the Tag System.

Using Tags to find content:

I'm tagging all my posts. The most relevant tags are available as static tags at the top of the posts page (see the image above). The most important Tag is the Collection-Tag. If you click that one, only important posts with actual content are shown. (So only posts that contain a full Main-Story-Scene, a side Story content, or my Character Sheets).

Also note the Extra-Tag which contains some posts that do not contain full comics but some pix you might want to see. Also, to faster access the ongoing main-story you can use the ongoing-Tag. This one will directly show you the current ongoing post(s) where I post daily updates to the main story.

There are other tags like Info or Poll. With those, you can quickly see what's new and whether there is currently a poll running. (But there is only little interest in browsing into the past with those two tags).

Archive is a Tag that will directly filter the Archive post for you. There you can download all my older stories. PS: This post is only available for the Time Bundle - EVERYTHING Tier which is meant to be purchased one time to catch up with my stories.

Resources is only of interest to you if you plan to buy a commission from me. It contains the character Sheets, the rooms of office party and my Commission Terms.

And then there is "Hexxets Corner". This tag will show all of my Hexxet's Corner posts if you are interested in my MC Blog I post from time to time.

A note on how the Main Story Content is released:

There are always two posts currently "ongoing" (this is a Tag as well) with the respective Main-Story-Scenes. One post for Enthusiasts and one for Afficionados (or above). I'm posting two pages into these posts each day. The Afficionado post is about 20 pages (so 10 days) ahead of the Enthusiast Post. When a Scene ends I rename that post to completed, and a new post will be created (Either the same day or the next), where the next Scene will continue. At the end of a scene I will also add the PDF and the zip folder (for easier download) into that post.

Once a scene is completed for both Afficionados and Enthusiasts, I will remove the Enthusiast post and set access of the Afficionado post to "All Patrons". Why? Because these posts contain the same content and would only clunk up the search. Also, I add the pdf/zip to the "Story so Far" post, which contains all Main-Story-Content up to the currently ongoing Scene. Here's a direct link to this post: Office Party - The Story so far

About Tiers:

As Enthusiasts, you have access to the main story posts, news posts ,and all polls concerning the main story content. There are two new pages daily to be found in the respective post.

As Afficionados, in addition to Enthusiasts, you have your own "ongoing" Main-Story-Post which is 10 days ahead. Within that post you will find two new pages on a daily basis. Also, you have access to the monthly side story of the current and the last month. (Older side stories are removed from Patreon and are only available in my Gumroad shop or via purchasing a Time/Story Bundle Tier here on Patreon). For an overview of the stories that were available there have a look at this post)

As Connoisseurs, you have access to all the content of the current and the previous month here on Patreon. This includes the monthly side-story as well as my extra stories. (Older side stories are removed from Patreon and are only available in my Gumroad shop or via purchasing a Time/Story Bundle Tier here on Patreon). For an overview of the stories that were available there have a look at this post)

As a Connoisseur Tier Member you can also have your name/nick be put in the credits of my current Main-Story. Please use the following poll to register/unregister from the credits: Registration "Your Name in the Credits"

Why remove content after two months?

Because otherwise one could get all my content for just 10€(+VAT) and that feels bad. I'd love to keep the content available online for everyone who has paid for it, but sadly there is not Patreon Model that would offer such functionality.

Time & Story Bundle Tiers: If you've missed one or several month and want to buy into those you can do so by purchasing these Tiers. You can then send me a patreon message with the Months (Time Bundle) or Stories (Story Bundle) and I will pack a zip folder for you and send you a download Link via E-Mail. (Don't forget to grade down to a lower Tier after purchasing this Tier, so you are not charged again next month. There is no benefit staying in this Tier after you've downloaded the archive's content.)

Time Bundle - EVERYTHING is the Tier if you are rather new to my page and want to catch up with my all of my older stories. You will get access to one post here on patreon which contains zip folders containing all my side/extra/commissioned stories. (For an overview of the stories that are contained in the Archive have a look at this post) Note that you can also purchase single stories in my Gumroad-shop, but if you are interested in all of them, the Archive is the cheaper way. (Don't forget to grade down to a lower Tier after purchasing this Tier, so you are not charged again next month. There is no benefit staying in this Tier after you've downloaded the archive's content.) 

PS: If you are currently in a yearly membership you should not upgrade to a Time or Story Bundle Tier. This would result in a yearly membership of this tier with very high costs that are not intended. Sadly Patreon is very inflexible in this scenario. In this case contact me via Patreon message that you are interested in the archive, some months or some stories and we can try find a way to solve this. (Probably via a Paypal one time payment and a download link).
