Meghan looked at her trophies one last time and signed. Within an hour, she wouldn't remember winning them or anything about being in a pageant at all. Meghan had been in scores of pageants since she was just a baby. As a young girl, she would regularly win the top prize in many pageants. Her mother arranged for her to have dance lessons and hired coaches to develop her grace and poise.  But those things aren't good enough anymore.

Since puberty began, Meghan didn't develop into a young woman who was capable of winning pageants. She was falling behind when it came to full breasts, wide hips, and a round butt. Those could be corrected, but her nose seemed too big for her face, her eyes too close, and her face too angular. Despite her obvious dance talents and natural poise, she couldn't compete with the prettier girls.

It was time to give all those things up and concentrate on something that would help her in the future.  She was going to swap everything she knew about beauty pageants with her new math tutor. She would gain all his math knowledge in exchange. The tutor would be unaware of what had happened. When he left her home, he would have the math knowledge of a failing student in the tenth grade. Meghan would have his expertise on the subject.

Meghan only hoped then she would be able to reacquire how to competently apply makeup and dress fashionably. Those skills would be transferred to the former tutor. Meghan understood, that even if she never regained those abilities, the trade was still worth it.
