Chapter 9.

Peter started to enjoy the gymnastics lessons. He liked the tumbling of the floor exercises, the flips on the vault, and using the uneven bars. He didn't even mind the balance beam. It was also fun to drive Olivia's car when he could.

Sarah wasn't the only girl in his class with whom Peter became friendly. The girls were all learning gymnastics for fun, they weren't competing. They encouraged each other to do their best. When one succeeded, they felt they all succeeded. They exchanged messages over their phones. Peter even arranged to dress like Olivia and spend some time with the girls practicing before the instructor marked the progress of each girl. No one in the class ever suspected that Peter wasn't a seventeen-year-old young woman and their friend.

Every day, Peter would drive Sarah home. There wasn't much Olivia could do about it.

Peter took the pills Olivia gave him every day. It made his dick feel more comfortable because the birth control pills kept his penis softer.

Olivia found that playing with the boys was harder than she thought. She decided to start taking steroids to strengthen her muscles which helped.

Olivia and Peter's mother were happy her children were getting along so well. There was never any fighting on the days that they had to go to the Y.

“Hey, where's Peter?” Sarah asked.

“Umm, his team has a match today. I'll drive you home and then I have to come right back,“ Peter informed her.

“OK, so it's just you and me. I guess that means I can be in the front seat today.”

“Sure.”

Upon arrival at Sarah's house, she suggested, “Why not come in and hang out.”

“I have to get back to drive Peter home.”

“When will his match be over?”

“I don't know, a couple of hours, I guess.”

“Then there isn't any hurry.”

“I suppose you are right.”

“You can have a snack, and we'll hang out, listen to music, stuff like that.”

Peter didn't want to watch Olivia's game. He had been losing interest in all sports recently. “OK.”

Sarah and Peter entered her house. They went to the kitchen first and had some Snapples with some snack cakes. Sarah didn't care about what she ate. She never had a weight problem. Her active lifestyle kept her thin.

“Olivia, I've wanted to tell you something.”

“What?” Peter asked. He was scared for a second, that his deception had been uncovered.

“I know you are really talented in gymnastics. You are one of the best in the class.”

“Thank you, I think so too.”

“But there is something holding you back?”

“What's that?”

“Fluidity of movement.”

“What?”

“Grace! You don't have much grace.”

“I'm trying. That is what Mrs. Grieco told me also.” Mrs. Grieco is their gymnastics instructor.

“I had that problem too when I first started. Something really helped me out.”

“What?”

“Taking dance.”

“It did?”

“Yeah, I think you should take dance too.”

“I don't know if I would like dance.”

“It's fun. You can be in my class.”

“What about Peter.”

“What about him.”

“I can't come without Peter.”

“Why not?”

“It's hard to explain. I guess I sort of have to watch him after school,” Peter lied.

“He looks old enough.”

“My mother is making me.” Peter was trying to think on his feet, coming up with excuses.

“Maybe he can take something at those times too. How about strength training?”

“I don't know.”

“You could ask him.”

“I guess.”

“But I don't know about dance.”

“It'll really help you out.”

“How?”

“Let me show you.”

Sarah led Peter to a room with hardwood floors. She turned on the appropriate music and showed him some steps.

“You start with your feet together like this, and then you leap into the air crisscrossing your feet while in the air and you land with your feet together again. You try.”

Peter was still wearing his leotards and tights under his outer clothes. He removed his skirt and blouse. He tried the leap. It didn't turn out well. Peter shook his head

“That was only your first try. My first entrechat wasn't that good either.”

“Entrechat?”

“That is what the leap is called. Try again. This time only crisscross your feet one time, not three.”

“I'll try.”

Sarah and Peter spent the next hour dancing and laughing. She convinced him to take her dance class.

“Look at the time, I have to go. I'll ask Peter about it.” Peter quickly through on his skirt and blouse. A moment later he was out the door.

“OK, see you next time. Let me know what happens,” Sarah called out.

Peter got into the car. He had to get to the Y before the match was over. Peter didn't know that looking for parking spots would be harder at this later hour. But eventually, he did find a spot. His anxiety rose as he ran from the car to the entrance of the Y. Peter was lucky to get there before Olivia was done. Olivia's team didn't win the match. She wasn't in any mood to talk on the ride home. She hadn't noticed that Peter wasn't in the stands rooting her on.

“I'm sorry you lost,” Peter sympathized.

"Thank you,” Olivia said tersely.

“If you were stronger, it might have made all the difference.”

Olivia didn't know what Peter was talking about. Peter was making his entire conversation up.

“You know that point that you didn't quite do it. If you were stronger.”

Olivia thought back to her match. There were several plays that Peter might be referring to. “Which.”

“You know. I don't remember when exactly. But that play.”

“Yeah.”

“If you were stronger, it might have worked.”

“I guess so.”

“Have you thought about working out?”

“A little.”

“You know they have a course at the Y called strength training.”

“I know it.”

“Maybe you should take it.”

“It's on another day.”

“I could take a course too.”

“You'd do that for me?”

“Well, there would be more driving. You know how I love to drive.”

“I know.”

It didn't take much convincing before 'Peter' was signed up for strength training and Olivia was signed up for dance.

Peter messaged Sarah about the good news.

Piter, you have to understand, Pater and Olivia's mother is never going to go for them becoming each other. So there is only so far this story can go. So do expect an ending where Peter becomes Sarah and Sarah becomes Peter.
