<Act 7>

Meanwhile, at Madam Magda's Hat Boutique, Madam Magda sees a familiar face enter her shop.

“Robin, the boy wonder!” she shouts.

Robin sashayed into the store. He is carrying a large hatbox in his left hand and his right is bent at the elbow with his hand hanging loosely at the end of his arm.

“How can I help you?” Magda asked.

“You are like in great danger,” Robin told her.

“I am?”

“Yes, the Mad Hatter is loose and he like wants your Hut Sombrero hat.”

“The Mad Hatter?”

“Yes, Batman and I have been going to everyone who like has one and swapping the real one for a fake one,” Robin told her referring to the hatbox he was carrying. Continuing, “The faux hat contains a homing transmitter. You give him that one and then we'll be able to track it down. In like the meantime, I'll take the real one for safekeeping. Once we catch the Mad Hatter, we'll return it to you.”

“But why should I give you the real one?”

“So, like it won't be stolen, duh.”

“I see.”

“It'll only be for a few days then you will get it back. Look at the faux hat, it's identical to yours.” Robin opened the box showing the fraudulent replica.

“Okay, but where is Batman?”

“He is like with another store owner. We thought that if we split up like we can get it done faster.”

The plan seemed reasonable to her. But Magda wasn't sure why she had to give Robin the genuine Hut Sombrero.

“I'll go get it.”

Robin waited while Madam Magda exited to retrieve the hat. “Jervis was right. She was going to give the hat over without a fight. His plan was genius,” Robin thought.

Batman and Robin (Batgirl's body) entered the store. They saw Robin waiting. He was standing in a feminine pose.

“What are you doing here? Did you escape?” Batman asked.

“Yeah, I like escaped.”

Madam Magda returned to the scene. She was carrying the genuine Hut Sombrero hat. “Here it is,” she said. “Oh Batman, I'm glad you're here. I feel better now.”

“What's going on?”

“I'm giving Robin the hat for safekeeping.”

“Is anyone else here?”

“Besides you? No.”

Batman didn't know who was in Robin's body. It didn't seem like Batgirl. She didn't talk like that.

“Fine, we won't be taking your hat, but I suggest you keep it safe and lock it up for the day.”

“You don't want to swap it for the fake one?”

“No,” Batman told her. Then to the person in Robin's body, “You had better come with us.”

“I won't.” Robin put up his fists to fight but it was clear that he didn't have any fighting skills. Batman and Batgirl overpowered Robin and took him into the alley to talk to him.

“Who are you?”

“I'm Robin!”

“No, you're not.”

Batman had to figure out if the person inside Robin's body was a hypnotized Batgirl or someone else. Regardless of who this person was, it was clear that Robin's body had a feminine personality.

“I am! Like who else would I be?”

Without any warning, Batman pulled out a can of BatSleep and sprayed it in his captive's face. He crumpled immediately. Batman and Batgirl carried 'Robin' to the batmobile. They returned to the Batcave.

During their trip back, the Mad Hatter was stealing the next Hut Sombrero hat on the list.
