The Elevator Seventy-Nineth Floor (Patreon)

Cardonali the magical imp was doing what he always did, he caused  trouble to others for his own amusement. Cardonali had the ability to  put any thought into a person's mind and manipulate them as he wanted  to. He stood unobserved or at least unacknowledged in the back of an  elevator waiting to see who would get in.

It only took Virginia a second to notice she was naked in the air-conditioned elevator.  She threw her hands to cover her private areas and screamed.

It only took a moment later for her husband, Gregg to notice the same thing.  His hands flew to his crotch.

"What happened?"

"How would I know?"

"We're naked."

"I can see that."

"What are we going to do."

"I suppose to go back to the apartment and get some clothes on."

"But how did this happen?"

"I told you, I don't know."

They decided to get out of the elevator on the next stop and take the stairs back to their floor.  It was less likely someone would see them.  The elevator was headed towards the lobby.

But it didn't occur to either of them until they arrived at their door that since they didn't have any clothes, they couldn't possibly have any keys either.

Virginia waited in the staircase, while Gregg knocked on a neighbor's door to try and get some help.

"Hey, little fella, are you lost?  Where's your Mommy?" the neighbor said when she saw a naked toddler at her door.

It didn't get much better for Gregg and Virginia after that.
