Cardonali the magical imp was doing what he always did, he caused  trouble to others for his own amusement. Cardonali had the ability to  put any thought into a person's mind and manipulate them as he wanted  to. He stood unobserved or at least unacknowledged in the back of an  elevator waiting to see who would get in.

Brittanie entered the elevator.  Sylvia, a woman who was over seventy, was already inside.  They had seen each other in the building but had never really talked.

Brittanie picked up her phone to call her boyfriend, she was about to connect to him when Cardonali got involved.  She didn't send the call.  Brittanie looked up and saw in the mirrored surfaces of the elevator what the woman behind her was wearing.

She thought it was so cute.  It was much better than the stuff she was wearing.  Everyone was wearing crap like this, but that woman was so stylish.

Brittanie turned around, "I like your outfit!" she told the woman.

The woman should have thought what Brittanie said was odd, but due to Cardonali's influence, she didn't.  She was wearing what many of the ladies wore at the senior center.

"Thank you. I like what you are wearing too."

"This old thing?  It's awful.  I have to wear it, but what you have on is gorgeous.  I love the skirt suit with that sweater and shirt.  Those shoes are to die for.  I'm Brittanie by the way."

"I'm Sylvia.  You have a fine fashion sense."

"I wish I could wear stuff like that."

"Why can't you?"

"I don't know.  Maybe peer pressure.  I love your whole look, not just your outfit, but even your glasses, and purse and the way you did your hair.  I just wish."

"Honey, come to my place.  I think I have some stuff you can have."

"Really?"

"Yeah, it'd be my pleasure."

Sylvia gave Brittanie scores of things that she didn't need: old lady stuff.  This included bras, pantyhose and granny panties.  Brittanie loved them all.  She couldn't wait for the kids at school to see her new look.
