Chapter 26

The next day, Ryan was coming to consciousness.  He was laying in a hospital bed wearing a gown.  But he couldn't move.  He knew his head was bandaged, he didn't know why.  He could also feel bandages around his hips.  But the reason he couldn't move was that his legs were tied down slightly apart and his hands were attached to restraints on the side of the bed.  He tried to say something but his throat was sore and he couldn't speak.  What he could say was high pitched and hoarse.

Waiting in the room was Christi.  She was reading a book waiting for Ryan to wake up.

“I see you are awake now Sweetie.  I'm glad.  I know you want your Mommy and Daddy, but they aren't here.  I know they wanted to be here when you woke up, but there was a little accident and well they will be here very soon.”

“What happened?” Ryan tried to ask.  But even though it was unintelligible, Christi answered his question.

“Well, you had a little operation.  Don't worry you will be all better soon. You had an operation a while back.  Well the doctors thought you needed another one so here you are.”

“What accident?” Ryan said, not that Christi knew what he was saying.  He didn't remember having any accident.

“I know, I know, it's tough that you can't talk.  They did some work on your throat.”

“My throat?”  Ryan started to thrash around.

“Don't move.  Calm down honey.  It'll be OK.”  That was the reason for the restraints, to keep him from tearing his stitches.  He had facial surgery to make him look more like a woman.  His vocal cords had been shorten to raise the pitch of his voice and of course, his penis and testicles, along with his bladder was removed and replaced with the genitals of a six year old girl.  That is why his legs were held immobile. Even after his recovered, it would take at least a year before he could gain enough feeling and muscle control from his new organs to start potty training.  The doctors didn't worry about this as they though he had the mind of a two year old anyway.

Ryan didn't know any of this.  He didn't know why he was here or his legal problem (as that now he was legally a two year girl named Cherie Lynn  Femrite.)   He was foggy about everything that happened the day before.

Christi continued, “Just relax and try and heal.  When your Mommy and Daddy come, I'll be sure to wake you.

But Ryan didn't want to relax.  He wanted to know what was happening.  When he wouldn't settle down, Christi summoned a nurse who took his vitals and then sedated him again.

Chapter 27.

Randy didn't know what had happened to Ryan either.  He knew he was in the hospital, but as far as he knew there wasn't going to be an operation.  His main concern was Lea who wasn't making any sense.  She said and acted like a teenaged girl not a grown woman.  She didn't seem to even know him nor any of their children.  She was taken to a hospital by ambulance and then was transported again to a psychiatric hospital.  Randy signed the papers for a 72 hour hold.

Lea's former personality had totally disintegrated.  She couldn't face her old life.  She blamed herself for what happened to her family.  She couldn't have noticed that Cherie was acting like Paul and helped him.  She should have seen the signs about Steve.  Steve idolized Paul, that was why he decided to become a baby himself.  Worst of all, she shouldn't have left Ryan stay in the hospital.  She should have stayed in his room until she took him home.  Now Ryan was a....Lea didn't know what Ryan was.  Is Ryan a woman now?

These were just the things she knew about.  She didn't know than Randy now supported the family by being a nanny.  She didn't know that Ryan had been a gay transvestite before the surgery.  She couldn't deal with any of this so she lost herself and became just an airheaded, teenaged bimbo without a responsibility in the world.  Her old personality and identity were so submerged that they couldn't be found.

Chapter 28:

During the night, Paul had some strange dreams.  His true personality was returning to the surface.  But with that personality was also the memory of what had happened that fateful night.  He remembered needing something to drink.  He remembered taking Cherie to get the alcohol.  He remembered drinking in the car and losing control.  Finally he remembered the terrible accident and being told that Cherie had died.

“HE KILLED CHERIE.” he thought.  “How could he live with himself after causing the death of an innocent like Cherie?”  The fact was, like his mother, he couldn't.  Cherie deserved to live, not Paul.  When he woke up, he had lost all of himself that was Paul and reverted to be Cherie again.  Although he was still sleeping, he clutched Brabra more tightly and stuck his thumb into his mouth and started to suck.

Chapter 29

When Randy returned home it was morning.  Steve and Cherie were playing together in the living room.  Steve had returned to wearing Cherie's clothing.  His diaper was wetter than Cherie's was.

“What's going on here?” Randy asked Steve.

“Me no Steve,” Steve announced.  “Me Stevi.”

“What?  You stop this this minute.  You got to go to school.”

“Me too lit'l to go school.  Me baby like Cherie.”

Randy didn't know what was going on.  Steve decided that he was going to be a baby full time now and no one could make him be a boy again.  He wouldn't talk right.  He would never use the bathroom again.  He wouldn't act in anyway like a boy.  If they tried to make him do something he would just start crying.  He wouldn't even let them put him in pants, not even girlie ones.

If they took him to school, he would just cry.  If they forced him into a chair in class he could get up like he didn't understand.  He was determined to be a baby like Cherie. If Cherie could be a baby than he could too.

Randy didn't know what to do.  He couldn't make Steve act his age.  What could he do ground him?  Besides, there was a part of Randy who liked Steve this way.  He loved little toddlers.  He preferred them to school aged children, that is why in his mind he left every nannying job once his charges reached the age of five.

Since he couldn't get to the hospital immediately as Steve was being difficult, he decided to call the hospital.  It was only then what he found out Lea had found out the night before.  His middle son wasn't his son anymore, biologically she is now his daughter.  Not to mention that he would have the voice and face to match.

A few months ago, Randy had three boys, now he has three girls.  All of whom are in diapers.

Epilogue

A Year Later.

Richard phoned his former wife, Brooke.  He didn't call her cell phone always preferring to use the house phone.  He called her at least once a day, but more like several times a day.  He had done such since his best friend Beatrice convinced him to be her roommate at the retirement community.  That is what it was called, but in fact it was more like a nursing home for the elderly.  Richard resisted going with her when she first bought an apartment there, but after her original roommate died, he changed his mind and decided to leave his home and come to live with her.

There were several reasons for this decision.  Brooke and Agnes had grown very close since the session with Dr. Zaaijer.  It was like they were a young couple again rekindling their marriage.  Richard loved Brooke and Ashley (and respected Agnes) but he knew they didn't want an 'old' person around.  They felt sorry for him and insisted he stay, but this was best for all of them.  Richard would be with the people he had the most in common.  Brooke and Agnes could have a serious relationship with out his interference.

“Hello,” a voice said on the other line.

“Hello, Brooke, it's me Richard.”

“I'm not Mom, I'm Ashley.  Hi Dad.”

Richard couldn't hear very well anymore.  Especially on the phone.  He had hearing aides, but for some things they didn't help too much.  He had that device (everyone at the nursing home...er retirement community had one) that converted speech into written words that were displayed by the phone.  Between the two Richard could have a conversation, but that didn't mean he could tell the difference between Brooke's and Ashley's voice on the phone.

“Hello Ashley, I called to see how things are going?”

“Not too well.  The same as before.”

“What do you mean?”

“Agnes moved into the guest bedroom.”

“She did?”

“Yeah, she did a while back.  I told you before.”  Ashley had had this similar conversation with Richard.  His memory was failing.  She had to tell him the same things every time he called.  Ashley didn't mind she loved her dad.  She liked hearing his voice.

“Why did she do that?”

“Mom and grandma just weren't getting along.  I don't know why.  Mom insisted that grandma move into the guest room and she has been in there ever since.”

“Maybe if she and Agnes sees that very nice Dr. Zaaijer.  He helped up last time.”

“Dr. Zaaijer has gone and no one knows where to find him.  He must have retired or something.”

“I'm sorry, I'll talk to them.”  Richard had in fact talked to Brooke many times about her and Agnes.  He gave her some advice which she didn't listen to.  Brooke just started to feel differently about Agnes once Dr. Zaaijer disappeared.  She wasn't feeling romantic about them anymore.  Eventually she kicked her out of her bed.  Unbeknownst to Richard nor anyone else, Brooke was having an affair with another woman (this woman wasn't many years younger than Agnes).

“How are you feeling?”

“I'm feeling better.  I don't need a walker anymore.  My joints still ache, but since I started wearing a body briefer and a posture bra.  I can stand up straighter and walk with just the help of a cane.  Beatrice suggested it.  She also suggested I stop wearing pants with zippers and buttons, it's much easier to wear pants (or sometimes skirts) with an elastic waist.  She also has such a good fashion sense that I'm now wearing pretty tops and everything I wear is coordinated.  I even got my hair styled.”

Ashley had seen all these things when she and her family visited Richard.  He was dressing just like all the other old ladies, from the granny panties to the colorful, easy to wear tops.  His hair had been colored white and permed in a granny style.

“I know, when we saw you, I thought you looked great.”

“Than...one second, my nurse is here I have to take my afternoon medication.”

Richard's mental condition wasn't strictly the doing of Dr. Zaaijer.  It was indirectly.  Since Richard thought he had osteoporosis and arthritishe was taking medications for each condition.  But since he didn't have either ailment, the drugs he used to combat it had side effects.  Doctors prescribed more medications to combat them, which in turn had other side effects.  This weakened his body and effected his mind.  But as he was with other's in similar conditions no one thought this was a problem.

Christi entered Richard's room carrying his afternoon supply of pills.  Unlike at the hospital she was being paid for her work at the retirement community.  She avoided her peers as she didn't really feel they were her peers.  She didn't want to be attracted to cute guys and she felt guilty for how she treated her friends so she spent most of her time working here.  She finds helping people highly satisfying.

“What is going on with you are your boyfriend Ryan?” Richard asked.

“We sort of lost touch long ago.  There was an 'accident' at the hospital and he's not the same person.  He had to drop out of high school and I don't see him anymore.”

“That's a shame.  He seemed like a nice boy.”

Ashley didn't want to tell her dad the truth.  Ryan spent a month in the hospital until he healed enough to go home.  Mr. Bailey discovered the mistake that was made and the hospital settled with the Femrite family out of court.  The settlement was enough to support the entire family.  But that didn't correct Ryan's legal status, that of a two year old girl.

There wasn't any going back for Ryan when it came to his gender.  He was a girl now and there wasn't a way to return to manhood, even with a new transplant.  He had a pretty face, with the voice of a young girl and the genitals of a prepubescent girl.  To conduct the transplant, nerves and muscles were weakened such that it would take at least a year before he would have the sensation and control needed to keep from needing a diaper.  He didn't know when his bladder would let loose and even if he did he couldn't control his muscles to stop it.  This would improve in time but it would take a year.  Only then would he be able to start 'potty training'.

Also legally he was Cherie Lynn Femrite a two year old.  It was decided that he would call himself Lynn to let Cherie keep her own name without confusing her.  Besides he had heard of men who called themselves Lynn, such as the former football great Lynn Swan.  Lynn had to wear diapers, but unlike his siblings he dressed more like a teen girl than a toddler.  Lynn feigned that he was against it, but he really wasn't.   Lynn couldn't legally go to school, but until he was out of diapers he didn't want to go anyway.

The Femrite family moved to get a fresh start.  As soon as Lynn's bladder muscles were strong enough, she would begin potty training and when she was sure that she wouldn't need diapers she would return to high school.  By then the new legal paperwork would be approved by the court.  No one would know that Lynn was ever a boy.  Strangely enough Lynn wasn't sure himself, was he really a girl, or was he a gay transvestite?

Randy enjoyed having three daughters all in diapers.  In Cherie's mind, she was an ordinary two year old.  Stevi acted like a two year old all the time.  Lynn was the only one that was legally two, but since she was too embarrassed to be with kids her own age (until that bladder problem was resolved)  spent most of her time watching and playing with her siblings.  It was easier to hide his diaper under skirts than pants so what was what he wore.

Very little is known about what happened to Lea.  The psychiatric hospital couldn't hold her since she wasn't any harm to herself or anyone left.  Once she left the hospital, Randy begged her to come home with him.  But she refused.  She didn't see them as her family.

“Are you still in cheerleading?” Richard asked.

“No not this year.  I decided to focus on my studies instead.”

Ashley had in fact gained a lot of weight.  It was starting to become embarrassing just to show up to practice.  When she needed to buy a new uniform for the second time because she couldn't fit into it, she finally quit the squad.  She gained even more weight since then.

“That's a shame.  You did a really great job before.”

“Thank you, but it's best I concentrate on my studies now.”  Then trying to change the subject Ashley said, “Mom should be home in two hours or you can call her on her cell.”

“OK, I'll try then.  I suppose I have to go now anyway, I have a card game with the ladies in a few minutes anyway.  Love you.”

“Love you, Dad.”

End.
