There is one actor in this film that you probably didn't recognize but you'd know his voice I'm sure. The balding cop with the mustache that books Dan Ackroyd into jail. . and finds the PCP in his coat. Hes the voice of Yoda, He's also more famous for being the voices of the Muppets characters : Ms. Piggy, Fozzie, Sam, Animal and Sesame Street Grover, Bert, Cookie Monster among other voices in shows and movies. Plus, he did some real acting like in this film as well as a few other Dan Ackroyd films that John Landis directed,

Actually the trading in this is a bit different.... they went in and had nothing except the cash in their account. They knew the price was going to go up because of the fake crop report and the Dukes (and soon others) were going to be buying like crazy. So at first when it got to 142, they shouted sell 30 in April at 142 which was a promise sell contracts at that price in April no matter what the price was at that time. Each contract was likely for thousands of pounds. So when the crop report was announced and there would be an ample supply - everyone started to sell and the price dropped so they waited until it got lower ($29) to buy contracts that would cover their previous sales commitments at $142 but now bought much lower giving them their profit. I read an analysis of this scene one time with example numbers stating they probably made as much as $250 million. Oh and decades later new SEC rules prohibited using government inside information, which is often referred to as the Eddie Murphy Rule.
