Really love this movie, glad you enjoyed it! But yeah, may not work irl, but a cute movie anyway. :) I don't know if you ever saw the 70s TV show All In The Family? Maybe not, but the old lady, Birdie, was the wife, Edith Bunker in that show. The character had a high pitched voice and was really funny. Also, Joe's grandfather was Clark Dad in Christmas Vacation. I've never seen it, but this movie was... I don't think a direct remake but, inspired by a movie from 1940 that was actually called "The Shop Around The Corner". When I found that out I thought maybe the grandfather's story about him exchanging letters with her mother might have been the plot of the original, but no, I looked it up and she wasn't named Cecilia. But again, still a cute nod to the original, mentioning pen pals. Keep being awesome!

These two were always so good together. Meg Ryan was the queen of the rom com in the 90's I think. She was just so adorable and cute who couldn't like her? It started really started in the 80's with the films like "Inner Space" with Martin Short and Dennis Quaid, whom she was married to for some time, then When Harry Met Sally, I think that's the film that really pushed her into superstardom, but in the 90's Joe Vs. The Volcano (W/ Tom Hanks), then Sleepless in Seattle (again with Tom Hanks), then French Kiss, City of Angels. All those I highly recommend, she did do 15 films in the 90's not all Rom-Com though. Also, my coffee preference and I'm not ashamed to admit it, is from Dutch Bro's. It's a Banana Cream Mocha (in winter hot w/ soft top and a sprinkle of cinnamon) and (I live in Arizona now so when it's hot out), same but blended. :)
