Sean Astin was also Mikey in The Goonies, but Jon Favreau is Tony Starks body guard, but he was also the one that pretty much started the entire MCU movies. He directed Iron Man and cast Robert Downey Jr for the role, he then went on to be an executive producer for the other Iron Man films and all the Avenger films. He also is a big time movie writer and director for Disney. He also went on and created the hit Disney series the Mandalorian, which he is also the executive producer and wrote most of the episodes. I remember him as the guy trying to make a name for himself as a writer/actor w/ movies like Swingers and Made w/ his body Vince Vaughn (who was also in Rudy). Now the dude's networth is like 200 and something million. I was a fan of his early work, it's good to see him go on to do big things.

I love this movie so much! He really did sack the quarterback in the last play of the game. But I think he played three plays instead of two. There are some differences from his life. I’d say the biggest was that Coach Devine actually supported Rudy dressing for the last game. It was his idea. However, he never planned to put him on the field. But the team captain asked that Rudy be allowed to play and Devine did it. The scene with the jerseys is amazing though! I think the writers did a great job with creative license on that one!
