Well, they can't tell if it's broken or not but I'm "Injured" so I get the boot of shame for 10 days.  Then they will reassess.  If still can't walk, then CT Scan and possible surgery for splintered bone fragments.

Get better soon, it is a shame the health system in the USA is so bad, in Australia, I broke my ankle (chipped the left side of my left ankle) and I got a free CT scan in 2 days... so they could confirm diagnosis (took 4 days to confirm including initial consultation)

James, so sorry to see that you have to deal with this! I've broken my foot once a long time ago and had to wear the boot too. Please heal up soon. I'm praying for you buddy.
