Weekly Update #7 (Patreon)

It'll take about two weeks until I can upload videos on Youtube again, unless I happen to get a third strike within that timeframe, then my account would be gone. I'm sorry for the inconvenience.

Most of my body still hurts. Half of Friday and basically the whole Saturday I have been doing yardwork, helping my mom and her friend moving tons of dirt. Well we did have a small excavator to help with that but it still was a LOT of work. I'm just glad it is done. I should probably post the before and after pictures on Twitter or something. However, since I usually get most of my work on Giant's Sandbox done on the weekends, I was robbed of a significant amount of time that I would have normally put into the game. At least Monday is a holiday, so that's something. Anyway, onwards to the update.

Giant's Sandbox

As you can see in the video above, there is now a way for giants to kiss their little handheld tinies. Right now it lacks a proper sound effect, so far I have not found a good kissing sound that's a little longer and actually sounds like a kiss. Also you might have noticed a new outfit choice for Cleo in said video. Now she is rocking some PJs and comes with slippers.

Aside from that, I have been continuing to work on smaller issues. Right now I'm trying to fix the way, tinies get attached to feet. There was a severe issue with the orientation of the character capsule (used for collision) and I'm surprised it didn't cause more propblems. This caused me to redo the getting flattened and the actual flattened animation to integrate root motion, so that the capsule is properly lying down. In the current public release, the capsule actually gets attached to the foot upright.

Art

While the comic I teasered is not quite done yet, I will upload a new picture with the character of said comic right after this update. I just had to go for the character reveal today, considering it is Paw Day and it seemed very fitting. The comic should be done within the next two days or so.

Also, since I've been doing nothing but yardwork yesterday, I thought I could let my PC render that Taorena video, which I showed you last week, while I'm not using the PC anyway. So that's gonna go up exclusive to Patreon for the time being, right after this post.
