Giant's Sandbox Update 0.0.4 "Cleo" Teaser (Patreon)

A little teaser of things to come in 0.0.4. I gave the update the codename "Cleo" since that's the official name of that cheetah woman. She will be playable with 9 outfits in total plus a new "form" for Krystal.

Besides the characters and outfits, there'll also be a rough version of the giant house map, that you can see in the video. Not much in it yet but it's enough to get a feel for it.

As you might have noticed, there is also a stamina and health system in the top left corner. As of right now, this does not do much besides limiting the time you are able to sprint. I do have some more things planned for that of course, not sure if they'll make it in the update.

I also finally found a efficient way to add more playable characters to the game, hence why you now get Cleo with a bunch of outfits. However the number of actual different models will remain small, until most of the features are integrated. Otherwise this would just produce more work than it needs to.

Speaking about Cleo, the Endless Rampage mini game is now integrated into Giant's Sandbox. However some model swapping and overhauling of mechanics is needed for it to work with all the Giant's Sandbox models but it's a start.

What took more time than I'd like to admit is reimporting the Krystal model and all of her Outfits and replacing the old ones in the actual logic of the game. This step was necessary however, since the first time I made those imports, I was quite inexperienced and they ended up very messy. You'll notice no or at least not much difference to before but this whole endevaour made working with these models much simpler for me.

Besides that there'll be some bugfixing from the previous versions, tweaks and changes to the cameras (like the freely controllable ground cam from the video). I'm also somewhat reworking the stomping logic and trying to implement a better camera for it while doing so.

I do plan on releasing the update 0.0.4 this month. So stay tuned for that!
