will be streaming in three hours, title says all

however, i have had a very large dip in patrons, particularly the 8 dollar tier. i was planning on this questionaire as i like to do occasionally, so i figured this might be a good time.

i know between covid, and the new vat thing patreon is doing, it might be people not wanting to pay patreons additional fees, but i am a person who tends to immediatly take blame and responsibility, so id like to know from you all whats up? am i doing anything wrong?how can i improve? generally what im doing right and what im doing that bothers you all and you want to see improved!

i also have a few questions, just to see what i can maybe focus on! feel free to add any free criticism you feel is valid but not listed below!

1:comics

is the art good enough? what parts do you guys like? what do you dislike?where can i up my game, and what would you guys like to see more of in my small comics?themes, etc.

also, how are my main 2 comics so far? playdate especially im trying to add a bit more buildup, but is it too much, too little? emily has a few things im not happy with but i plan to fix in part 2, but how is part one so far?

2:art in general

pretty much as stated, is my art improving at a rate to where you all enjoy it, and feel its worth supporting?where do you guys want to see significant improvement or so?

3:uploads

do i upload enough? not enough? too little? this is for 3 and 8 dollar tiers specifically, do you feel you get your moneys worth?

one again, i dont say it enough, but thank you all so much for supporting me, you guys are really incredible for supporting me as you have and through all this ;3; <3 it is what motivates me to work every day to keep trying ot up my game and make better content and just improve as an artist and person ;3;

I think frequency is fine, especially for a single person. I do agree that some people may think there's too much buildup in your comics, but if it leads to a more believable story, I welcome it

paddedulf

is this a thing youve heard frequently?i havent gotten any feedback of too much buildup before, but if this is an issue, i can definitely expedite things ouo. i tend to really like to take my time, especially with eye candy stuff, prolly a bit too much xux

I find that I get my money's worth from your patreon. I don't see many criticisms that are not just, "keep working the way you have been." Considering how many people there are, and the fact that you are a single person, it seems fine update wise

1. I think the comics are fine, I've been enjoying them a lot so far. 2. I certainly think your art has improved greatly and I'm loving how it looks lately. 3. I think you upload plenty

[THE COMICS] I will say they have been pretty good for the most part, aside from the rare wonky panel. I've been enjoying the side comics for being able to more immediately scratch the itch that the main comics might not be able to do. I know Emily is probably the more popular comic, but I've really been enjoying Playdate more for having a relatably sympathetic character who enjoys their "scenes". And I don't think the pacing has been killer, though the hints and the imagination sequence (like in the cafe mirror) have done a lot to help with that. If you think the pacing might be a bit too much, maybe plan for a few more sequences like that? [ARTWORK] I certainly felt you've been improving, and that the work has made my pledge worthwhile. No complaints or suggestions here. [UPLOADS] You should see the rate some that I pledge to release their work. I swear I've seen nothing for months at a time from some of them. Compared to their molasses, you're going lightening fast. I would almost feel fine if you slowed down some if you needed. And if it was a case of needing to focus on one, I would feel better if you focused on comics over artwork (though the current pace and release schedule would be ideal)

okay, thank you for replying ;u;! this really helps me figure out what is going on, overall

paddedulf

I've been a paetron for a while now and I have found no fault with your comics, art or, uploading. I greatly enjoy all your stuff. Please don't feel rushed by anyone. You're doing a fantastic job.

the comic over artwork thing is something i kinda came to terms with. often artwork i do i just wanted to in the moment, but i really get into and feel comics more. compositionally, i can plan comic sbetter for maximum value, where stand alone illustrations i always feel lost, like, what am i even doing >3<

Been a patreon for a long long time. Love everything you do. If it takes a while to get art its because what you make is quality and takes time to make and i understand that. I personally love the comics, pinups, and etc... P.S. your diapers look extra cute and poofy <3

I can't speak for those who dropped you, as I haven't (obviously :) ). 1. Comics are fine, and the main reason I sponsor you. 2. No complaints about your artwork. 3. No issue with the upload rate. Personally, I prefer the comics over the other art work but have no complaints with your current mix.

1. Comics are excellent, I love emily and am very invested in playdate since it started up. 2. Your art has an excellent texture to it and it's very pleasing to look at. 3. Your upload rate is actually really good, fairly consistent and with good updates.

As a patreon who has dropped you, and only occasionally comes back to check on how things are going. I would say the issue is that you are very scattered, that you have a lot of work going on all at the same time. I can't speak for everyone but I'd prefer if you mainly stuck to one series for a while, and then jumped to another, instead of having multiple comics all going at the same time.
